Hello UESP, I'm home sick from work today. Which sucks. Fortunately I am feeling better than I was this morning.

Hope you're feeling better now, Kerr?

It's been so quiet around here lately.
I believe Cassandra returns from camp tomorrow, so perhaps she'll bring some interesting camp stories to liven things up.

This week I discovered that Wii bowling is easier than real bowling.

Aww, Aarah, you stayed on top of when I'd be back? You're the best. ^-^

Feel better, Kerr!

Wii bowling is a hoot. My family used to have "bowling" nights where we'd have friends or family over and play Wii bowling together. Then we actually went to a bowling alley one time, and oh how the tables turned. My Wii bowling pro of a sister was no match for the IRL bowling pro that is me (I actually wasn't very good at it, but I still beat her).

Yes, yes. I'm doing great now. Was just a day, thankfully.

Being generally really busy in life has kept me away this month. Which is unfortunate. But hey, here I am now. And Cass is back too! Yay!

Haha what's with this forum and everyone preferring the cold? Heat doesn't bother me but the bugs that come with it can.

Well, I've never really done well in the heat, and I don't know why. I mean, I hate being cold and am usually always cold, but like...I can always just put something warmer on. But super hot with humidity? No thanks. There's just a point where you can't do anything to be comfortable. I hardly went outside at all in the summer in the south, it was just unbearable to me! I am so happy to be in milder waters, hahaha!

I'm going to the United States (Boston and Florida): also, working full time for the first time ever, which isn't really plans, just different.

Doing the same thing I am always doing every night. The Sheodovah and the Sheodovah, one is insane, the other is Sheodovah. Something, something, something, TheShedovah, Dovah, doooovaaah!

It's a Pinky and the Brain reference.

That makes me feel old.

In all seriousness, no real plans outside of job hunting, winding up Aarah and Beta etc.. I am taking my mate to a model railway exhibition in October and trying to put together a bowling night with my other mates. It all comes down to what is occuring round my parts. Oh and this is all assuming I've sorted everything out in the den of Sheodovah by the end of this month. Oh and RWBY watching! :D Because it's back and I am the number one RWBY fanboy on here. SUre, I may not have any Merc but my spirit makes up for it. I ought to change the avatar to a non-creepy Nora one.

Erm... yeah. Oh and cooking. Not really a plan, just gonna to do a [&@%!] ton of cooking.

Oh and doing a massive cull of my possessions. Gonna to get a waistcoat, hat and cane. Sssssstylish Dovah is coming. He'll be Ssssssshmooooking!

Don't have control over the route this time--but seriously thinking about emigrating to the States in Spring, so if my midwestern internet friends want to put me up during the obligatory roadtrip I'll be on...

(edit: inb4: "but velvet, I thought you were moving to London". Not keen on risking it when Britian look like they're going no-deal, which would make me eligible to deportation from May onwards.)

Moving to the States? No no, my friend, you should move to Canada. Far superior, in my humble opinion.

It looks like we'll be doing the whole tourist thing but I want to see if we can visit upstate or something. I'd like to see more of the US than just the tourist parts.

Looking at Toronto too actually. The place looks pretty cool. But I'm looking at Wall Street jobs right now and Wall Street is only in the States.

Because if I'm trapped working in Finance for a few years I might as well do it at the centre of the financial world.

Ahh, I'm assuming you'll be going to Orlando then. Generally can't go wrong visiting there. IMO Cape Canaveral (Kennedy Space Center) is the greatest spot in FL but I am more nerdy boy than party boy.

I don't know much about Florida (it is all beach vacation and Disney to me, haha), but...if you like history, the "tourist parts" of Boston are well worth it. Lots of really great sights and museums there. Of course, I am biased due to my love of early American history, but I'll recommend all that stuff until the day I die. Fantastic eating as well!

Three thousand times, yes. Any of the space stuff is super cool. I wouldn't have survived the south if I didn't live near all the cool NASA stuff to keep me amused.

I've not once had a bad trip to Canada, so I would like to concur... Absolutely great place, 10/10 would visit again.

^ You ever visit St Augustine? Fantastic place for history although getting too touristy nowadays. I love going there, the drive from my house is half the fun; get to drive really fast down A1A with the beach (literally) a stones throw away on the left and historic marshes on the right.

Regarding touring and history: definitely brush up on US history. Visiting National Arlington Cemetery w/o proper context is kinda pointless. With proper context it's an experience and hard to put into words.

Oh, St Augustine and the Space Center are both a good time. I haven't been to either since I was pretty young, but I remember liking them lots. The Space Center is really cool;space stuff always is.

Ah, yes yes. I suppose that makes sense. Can confirm that Toronto is pretty cool, though.
