Once again, I have no puzzles, so I freely pass it onward.

A magician lost two fingers on his right hand in a botched bullet catch stunt. Unable to perform slight-of-hand tricks because of it, he has grown quite famous for his "Transporting Man" trick. In it, he steps into one cabinet, and steps out of another on the other side of the stage a moment later. As nearly as anyone can tell, the magician both enters and exits the cabinets, as the man who exits is identical, even down to the missing fingers. He finishes the show without any opportunities to switch with a double. His wife has left him, upset that he seems to sometimes love her and sometimes not. This has driven him to alcohol, and when not performing, the magician is seen almost constantly drinking in one of a number of taverns, but he seems to sober up during the course of the show. How does he do it?

In retrospect that was not worth the time it took to set it up.

I have edited the rules for this threat adding this line:

9. If the user who posted the correct answer does not post a new puzzle within 48 hours of their answer being confirmed, a new puzzle can be posted by anyone.

This was done, obviously, to avoid the situation we have now where the user who solved the puzzle correctly has not posted a new puzzle. So, if anyone has one, go for it! (If not, I'll come up with something...)
