Watching the show, I'm not surprised that he's a jerk...

Eating five 3000 calorie sandwiches... I think that out does the Super Size me challenge in a single meal... Is it wrong if your mouth starts watering when you click on that link?

Man Avron, that sandwich has me craving a good Philly Cheesesteak now. Maybe after the first I'll day trip up to Philly and stop by Pat's.

You want to see a heart attack in a sandwich, my friends, you must learn the ways of the fat sandwich. That's 3000 calories in one sandwich. They're a huge university thing around where I am. My alma mater had the Man vs. Food crew here to try to do the local challenge, which is to eat 5 of those suckers in an hour, I think it was. He failed miserably - which I was happy about, because it turns out the host is a huge jerk.

They're surprisingly delicious. I only had a half of one, but man...it's an experience.

i remember watching that show, that guy actually makes me sick, going around and stuffing is face to break records. I'm waiting for him to fall over with a heart attack

They really are absurd, but somehow they are disgustingly delicious...so mouth watering is a-okay!

He's a tough customer. He gave us a really mean time and he wrote us a rude letter, so the editors and I all hung it up on the Wall of Shame and laughed at it. I haven't watched his show since...not that I watched it much before anyway.

Simple but awesome. And oh, so Canadian. Eh.
Fill a tall mug with freshly fallen powder, pack it down, fill it with Coca-Cola. Yumm. Best slushy ever.

I always have random mixtures in my head that seem like they would go well together.
Here's one of them:

Brown sugar and ground cinnamon poured into coffee or hot chocolate..... Just an idea.

You don't need coffee or hot chocolate. Just plain hot milk makes that taste lovely.

Also, husband bought me Mastering the Art of French Cooking for Christmas, so between that and my Hairy Bikers' Perfect Pies, I have loads of new recipes to try out.

Bring it back now.

Just made myself a nice chicken dish. Took a breast of chicken, and cooked it in a skillet in a bit of chicken broth. Seasoned it with a bit of Paprika. Then, when it was all but cooked, I took it out of the skillet, cut it up into slices, and put it back in the skillet with mushrooms, tomatoes and green peppers. Added in some garlic powder, minced onions, salt and pepper and let it all brown up a bit. At the last minute, I covered it in a light layer of cheese(low fat for the diet) and let that melt. Its great.

I do not intend to judge your cooking Leilah, but hot milk in my world is blasphemous.

Oh eww, not hot milk just like that! No no, hot milk with brown sugar and cinnamon, which Vendetta was talking about. That's actually pretty good.

scrib, that chicken dish sounds amazing, going to put it on our supper list for next week. With rice, because husband adores rice.

I made some zucchini fritters last week. They were even better than I'd expected them to be.

Well, I just had the most nutritious meal here of pot roast and a bag of donnetts. I'm a slacker.

It was pretty good, I did the same thing a few days ago with steak, so figured I'd try it with chicken. I would have loved it with a bit of mashed potatoes, but I can't have em on the diet. Oh well, that was good enough for me.

Yes! Add sugar and your favourite sweet-friendly spices to a mug of hot milk. My favourite combination is cinnamon and just the tiniest bit of nutmeg. It's great for those awkward situations when you're out of everything but need a delicious hot drink.

Oh! And I'm making steak, asparagus and tomato salad for supper tonight. It was supposed to be asparagus risotto, but the store didn't have risotto rice. Then it was supposed to be asparagus and goat's cheese pasta, but there was no goat's cheese. So I bought steak instead. Makes total sense, right?

Oh yes, totally. As long as you pay the shipping costs.

Hmmm... Assuming I'm not a gullible idiot, does $100 sound good? South Africa is far away...

Well, seeing that shipping is ludicrously expensive and I'd probably want to send cookies via airmail anyway, $100 could end up being spot-on.
