I am the one who continues to delay Half Life 3. Every slap will cause an additional decade to be added to the delay. I will uncancel Firefly just to cancel it again if you slap me.

I don't care about Half Life 3. I haven't played Half Life 1 or 2. I don't even really know what they're about. And I don't want Firefly to be uncancelled. It's too late for that. Your threats mean nothing.

Besides, Beta was gonna be slapped for his attitude, not just because he's against watching Firefly.

Firefly is one of my favorite shows (I'm wearing a Blue Sun shirt right now because I'm a giant nerd,) I love it and I like some other things he's made (Dollhouse, Dr. Horrible, Cabin in The Woods) quite a lot too. But yeah, that's a perfectly natural reaction to him. I like Whedon less now than when I was 16/17. I think it sucks Firefly got canceled, a lot, but I also remember the one Inara episode Whedon had planned and yeah, the world's okay with that not existing. (It's super gross, I'm not going to explain it here, you can google it if you want but I'm glad it never got made.)

Baby Driver is really good and y'all should watch it. Edgar Wright (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim) is such a good director.

I mean I did enjoy Buffy a lot, but I probably wouldn't be able to watch it again now that all I can have on my mind is that his brand of feminism is actually just his fetish for girls swinging really big swords. It is a good thing to put on the screen and normalize, but he's been patting himself on the back over it for the past 20 years. I just....nah. I wouldn't turn any of his movies off if it were playing, I guess, but I'm not in any rush to go out of my way for them.

On the subject of Baby Driver, I find it really funny that Debra is in the soundtrack presumably because of Debora, but the song is actually not about Debra, but rather about her sister Jenny.

I can't think of any songs about a 'Riley.' Not even Baba O'Riley, because the lyrics never mention a Baba or an O'Riley, only teenage wasteland.
