I thought you guys had to choose an option to make nothing show up! If it's automatic, I guess our days of edit-spotting are over.

^Nope, it's automatic. You have to type in a reason if you want it to show anything.

There's a way to make it show up like it is at the moment, but it's more of a faff, so if Kerr went to the trouble to do that then I'd be even more suspicious!

You never know, I am still figuring out my powers and how to use them. It's like the part after Robin's parents are killed and Batman adopts him but before he's any good at it.

Does this mean I could edit Cassandra's posts two times, not change anything and she'd never be able to tell? I wouldn't but boy, the thought of that might create paranoia.

How can you edit something without changing anything?

Oh, I getcha. I don't think it would class it as an edit though, cos nothing has changed.

If the post looked exactly the same and there was no edit note underneath, what would be the point? Only you would know.

I mean.. You could always just be really cheeky and "do this"

It all depends how invested they are with this mysterious double edit phenomenon.

Yeah, I've had my current status for probably about two months. Prior to that it was "Modding..."

I do read these forums practically every day, but I only log in if I want to post. And often I find myself wanting to jump in and contribute something to a conversation, but by the time I see it the thread has long since moved on to a different topic. This reply is kind of a case in point.

Switching back to "lurk" mode...

I'm here pretty much everyday because one of the "perks" of constant failure in the job hunt is too much free time thus the freedom to lurk on any site i please. In fact, that is the only upside.


On another note: I discovered I messed up with my weekly shopping this week. Yay! I get to use the remaining shrapnel of my budgets to get what i need.

I think that the people who actually post in the GD are just as lost as you.

I get more lost with proper discussion than I do with the random, weird discussion nowadays.

Why do i watch the Simpsons despite knowing it's garbage and can make me a bit miffed?

I don't really watch things just because they're on television and "there's nothing else on" anymore, if I'm watching television it's cause something I wanted to watch was on and I knew about it.

Which means I see far less Pointless.

Pointless tends to be rather pointless. It's known as that show that is on before Doctor Who. Come to think of it, i only watch 4 shows a week. Big Bang Theory repeats on E4, Mock the Week on BBC 2, Doctor Who on BBC 1 and Impact wrestling on Spikeuk. Oh and random films on filmfour. Which seems to always show the same things every few weeks. Which ITV2 used to do with Hotfuzz. it's probably on again this week.

I like Pointless. I don't like it enough to bother watching it but I enjoy it when I do see it.

Only time I search for something is if I'm having dinner. Sitting eating dinner in the quiet is a bit dull.
Sometimes I'll put the tv on for a bit of background noise/visuals too, but not actually watch it.
