I elaborated on just what [&@%!] me off so much about Tides of Numenera here when I was still super amped up on coffee and medication, that was a good day for writing. Dunno if you saw but it's how my experience went.

Wasteland 2 is alright. It's got really neat character creation I think, and allows you to make really unique characters as far as statistics go, but the cosmetic portion of the CC is abysmal as far as I'm concerned. I haven't gotten very far with it, but it's a lot better than PoE and T:ToN in my book. The combat is a poor man's version of Shadowrun Returns though.

Speaking of SR, I think that thus far it's the only game in this 'cRPG renaissance' that we're in that I've truly, truly enjoyed. Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun: Hong Kong are easily some of my most treasured gaming experiences, bar none.

Cool, I hadn't seen that rant you wrote about it yet. Yeah, I liked Pillars a lot more than you did. I was going to start Tyranny soon but they just announced an expansion so I'm going to wait for it to come out before I play it. Something I will always miss now revisiting older games is your entire party having their inventory on one screen like in Pillars of Eternity. It's such a good ease of use feature. Like how I'll miss the quick looting system from Fallout 4 anytime I play an older Bethesda game/New Vegas.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall is one of my favorite games, I adore it, the story, your party, the gameplay, the city of Berlin. If anyone wants to play an Isometric RPG, Harebrained Schemes Shadowrun games are the best introduction you'll find, all 3 are really strong. I started with Fallout 1 & Baldur's Gate 1 and as much as I enjoy those games, they're not the best starting point. The Shadowrun games play a lot like XCOM: Enemy Unknown which has the best Turned Based Combat in any game.

Fallout 1 & 2 remake in the style of Fallout 3/New Vegas/4 is a thing people will bring up every now and again, something that will never and should never happen. But Fallout 1 & 2 remakes in the style of Shadowrun: Returns? That could be amazing.

I'm sorry to interrupt your serious video game discussion, I really am. But it's bugging me; does Kerr ever just edit something once? I mean, look at this:It's always 2 times...

Kerr has been found out. They are working for a secret company that requires them to edit one post two times, once a day.
Why this company requires them to do this, as Union said, is a mystery.

And on the subject of change; Mars & Kerr, I like your new statuses. ^-^

It's merely Kerr slowly putting her plan into action. She believes that by editing her posts twice, she can summon a demon to kidnap everyone and put her into power as Queen of UESP. Unfortunately for her, I've known about that plan for years and may or may not have attempted such plan myself.


On a non-silliness related note: I stated this before and I'll state it again, [&@%!] seagulls.[&@%!] attacked me ysterday and cost me a pigs in blanket bap!

I would say just cut out a middle man and become a demon, but I also think I've implied in the past that I'm some sort of Aos Sídhe prince who can be harmed by Cold Iron. Becoming a demon wouldn't really work with the established lore.

Hence why you became a synth.

The seagulls around your parts are particularly hostile.
Maybe they just don't like you. Maybe you've got one of those faces that just winds seagulls up.

They are organised. Literally mere seconds after one smashed into my shoulders, 3-4 others proceeded to feast on the fallen food. And they are classed as an endangered species!

I didn't know that they were endangered. Surprising!

Goodness me, that's some organised crime going on there! Sounds like you might have to up your defence in that part of town.
Maybe a decoy sandwich, and then BAM! (I'll leave you to interpret the bam.)

I merely have to become Big Boss and fulton the entire Seagull population to use as a very efficent way of annoying UESpers.

But it's ok because I've clearly stated that the bam is to be interpreted by Dovah, so he shouldn't end up assuming I'm referring to something in particular and then blame it on me. Unlike some people.

@Mars: Oh, nice! You needn't tell me to check it, though. I keep my observation skills on point by seeing how long it takes me to notice when someone (but mostly Aarah) has changed their status.
