FMK? In that exact order, actually. I'm not about to get super political in GD (or any other thread obviously), but insofar as Justin Trudeau? One word: yoga.

Also, I imagine he's very liberal in regards to things other than politics. Very...open minded.

@leroy

I think I know the scene you mean. I think it was from an episode where Penguin contaminates all the money with some kind of virus, so people start throwing their money away and Penguin goes around the streets sucking it all up in his vacuum cleaner.

What kind of 90s corniness do you like?

Russel Brand is an interesting one.

Tbh, I haven't heard of 80% of the people that folk are choosing in here, but we're getting a good variety. :)

I (am not going to in 1000 years but) should record myself as well as 2 particular friends of mine nerd out on 80s/90s movies. That turns into a very very long discussion.

But I suppose I could answer your question with this: Twister. My dream is to re-enact this scene with some of my friends. No cell phones allowed, I will buy and install the CB radios for free.

EDIT: And yes you hit the nail on the head with that episode! Good call.

Everyone knows that it was Molag Bal that caused the Red mountain to sell itself out to Dew thus forming the code red flavour of the Mountain Dew drink.

What? I lost track of what the topic is thus this is me sneaking back in.

That's a good way to start @TheSheoDovah. I also love how you're the only one who sneaks in actual TES stuff in the GD :D

I decided to do some preliminary research for Tales From the Crypt: SheoDovah Edition, and gosh, my head hurts.

You're lucky you have two people to nerd out about 80s/90s movies with. People who want to talk in-depth on the intricacies of certain films can be hard to come by.

You'd need quite a few people to re-enact that scene...and quite a few trucks.
What do you like about it so much? Just the teamwork of it all, cruising down the highway in equidistantly placed vehicles, chasing down a tornado, and all the while dramatic adventure/action music plays, featuring an electric guitar for added 90s-ness?

I forgot that the guy from Ferris Bueller was in that film, and the woman from The Lost Boys.
"What's your name?"
"Star."

Would you be playing Bill Paxton in your re-enactment?

I hate to disappoint (I really don't actually), but I'm already well acquainted with the song. The anthropomorphic critters, not so much. But they aren't so traumatizing. As a small child, I was held by someone in a Polkaroo costume (actually, my uncle) at preschool, and that was off putting enough. (Apparently I cried.)

I'm a big man now, though, so if a Melody Mouse breaks into my room at night and sings at me, I will strangle that mouse to death with nothing but a cold, emotionless stare.

Skidamarink a-dink-a-dink, skidamarink a-doo.

Oh, the song's a classic, alright. It was the mouse and bear that truly conveyed my feelings.

Anyway, I may or may not have spent the last 45 minutes watching such videos with my sisters. My favourite one of all would have to be this. It killed me. No joke, I had tears in my eyes and was unable to breathe at one point.

Edit: When you go to reply to someone's post and it's legit not even there anymore... Aarah, I know you said something! I know you did!

I know that video was for Cassandra, but I have to comment on its goodness.
Tim Curry looks so young in it.

I especially like that they utilised every Powerpoint slide transition effect in the video.

Highlight: Tim Curry and his flying duvet cover.

I don't want to ruin the above Tim Curry video for anyone who hasn't seen it yet so I'll put it in spoiler:
Spoiler:
"Has anybody seen my tambourine?" is so great.

Also if you want something genuine and heartfelt from my childhood (skip to 20 seconds):

I'm right spooked. That tambourine playing has caused my heart to shudder and soul to shake with fear.

And, oh my gosh, did his hair turn green? I'm gonna have nightmares tonight.

ninja'd: That's so cute, Kerr! ^-^

@Kerr
I too enjoyed that line.

Aww, I remember Old Bear Stories!
Though the cute, jolliness of the video was marred somewhat by the dramatic FBI warning. Lol

Edit: Wait...did you just do a sneaky edit, Cassandra? The bit you wrote about sneaky edits is gone. :wat:

Deploying nuclear strike to General Discussion. ...Wait, no, that's just a damp wad of used tissues. Oh well. Close enough.

Hey, you know what's great about having the house to yourself for a weekend? Singing. I mean, I somewhat suspect the dogs of silently judging me, but to hell with them. They lick eachothers' butts, so obviously, they're tasteless.

Can you not just sing while not alone? That's what I do. Admittedly, it normally ends in my being attacked, but still.

Aarah wrote:

Me? Do a sneaky edit? Why in the world would I do that?

Besides, I wasn't talking about sneaky edits in my post. I was talking about being spooked.

This line is ambiguous.

@Cass
I know I saw you write about us making sneaky edits somewhere in your last couple of posts.
And posts can contain more than one topic content, so you can't fob me off with your spooked reasoning.
And there was an anime gif facepalming and shaking her head.
Mmm hmm, oh yes.

If you're going to pretend that I made a sneaky edit, at least have a better story than "one of your last couple of posts involved an anime gif".

Cass, there is something you should know. Whilst many UESPers claim that madness is their ally, i was born mad. I was molded by it and did not hear of sanity till I was a man.

Sheodovah is the strawberry jelly of the forums.

Also, which uespers claim that madness is their ally?

Ah, classic Dov and that mild brain tingle you get inbetween his old posts ^_^

I mean, just when you thought the door was a tad unhinged..
Quote:
Let me sum him up in a few words. By azure! By Azure it's the grand champion. By Azure by Azure it's the grand champion. The Adoring fan was found murdered in the IC the following day
It kept opening wider..

The Four kings basically grab you by the balls and say" You know all of the lessons you've leart about Dark Souls, well, THEY ARE USELESS HERE! MWAHAHAHA!".
And wider...

And wi... Oh, look, it's open(And inside is another unhinged door)

@Aarah: Very important question: What sort of jelly would I be?

^If we're assigning flavours properly, Dovah would be bubblegum jelly.
You, Beta, would be lime flavour.
