I was reading up about the 1920s, and have discovered that there was this fad that went on in 1929 Baltimore called "flagpole sitting", in which, surprise surprise, people sat on flagpoles. For days at a time. One week, there were 20 different flagpole sitters sitting all at the same time. The best thing, though, was a letter given to Avon Foreman (the original sitter) by the mayor of Baltimore (because yes, he knew about this, and yes, he visited many of the flagpole sitters).I love this so much. Because obviously sitting on a flagpole is the epitome of pioneering.

^So many questions spring to mind.

How do they get up there?
What about water?
What about when they need the loo?
How do they not fall off when they fall asleep?
How is there even enough surface area atop a flagpole to support one's derriere?

@Baloth-Kul it is beautiful, the weather...not so much. It's always over 100F.

Yeah, timezones can be a bane.
On the bright side, we all seem to operate at odd hours even relative to our timezone, a lot of the time.
For example, Mars and I are often in here at 3-5am (GMT, (+1) ) and beyond, and Beta seems to not be tied to a timezone at all, and wanders through time like Dr. Who.
So there's a good chance you'll find someone roaming about in here at any given time of day/night.

Beta's schedule is flipping weird.

I'm working too on the side. I want to be a makeup artist in the future so I go on shoots occasionally as a makeup assistant to learn more about makeup. I'm also an editor for a new magazine on editorial makeup.
