Seventeen posts, on my first day? I guess I asked all the questions that had been weighing on me before I joined the forums. But that means that I've only posted 50 times in the 12 months+ since then. Yikes.
It's very true. Year-ago me would be disappointed. But there's no doubt that these anime gifs and my corruption go hand in hand.
But my real question is; who was I hoping had a good day? Probably someone's birthday or something.

Ah, I'm going to be 99 before I get all of my coins.

Oh, that's good to hear! I have yet to decide whether my day was good or not. I was up until 3:48 last night working on POLs, and in the end, I didn't even have to present in Biology. So while I was glad that I didn't have to present, it's slightly bothersome. And I'm really tired. But my Physics project turned out surprisingly well, which is good.

Gah, yeah, all that work for no presentation. Bittersweet.

You joined 1575 days ago, and have accrued 1243 posts, so that's an average of 0.789 (to 3 d.p.) non General posts per day.
So to get another 257 posts, an estimation based on your past posting would mean you'd take another 325.729 days, or approximately 10 months and 3 weeks to reach Grand Master rank.

POL stands for Presentation of Learning. We have one "POL Day" each semester, where you present in all of your classes (unless the teacher is nice and lets you do it on another day to remove some stress). Today I was just supposed to have Biology and Physics, but like I said, we ran out of time in Bio.

My Physics project was an assignment that we've been working on for a while now. You had to, with a partner, make a slot car. We put the base together, wired the lights to work a certain way, designed a car body (we 3D printed them, then vacuum-molded plastic overtop to make it hollow), and conducted tests to figure out how best to weight the car. Today we were timed for our best lap around the track. Our car was having... issues. But in the end, we came 6th (out of 14 teams). We were just happy that we didn't come in last, tbh.

Good lord, you're so right. Make it so!

That physics project sounds so much fun!!!
I wish we did stuff like that at my school. They never did pairs/team projects, or come to think of it, any projects at all.
(Though at uni we got a build a giant catapult and fire a gun, so they were better).

6th place isn't bad! It's in the top half. (And quite frankly it sounds so much fun that coming last would still be a hoot.)

@Mars: I mean, if that's what you want? Do you know what type of coins you want too?

@Aarah: It was fun, except when the stress kicked in (and all that graphing for our report wasn't much fun, either). But anyway, now that timing laps is done, we're going to start doing head-to-head racing (for fun, not marks). So that should be nice.

A giant catapult? Guns? Sounds like fun.

I'm sorry, I can't empathize with your graphing woe because I actually really like making graphs. Tables of data are a bit dull, but then bam! Look at that good looking bar graph!

Where are you going to race them? (Surface wise?)

Oh, I don't know. What are standard slot car tracks made of? Because it's probably that.

Also, I hate that feeling when you happen to see that someone's changed their location, status, etc, but you don't know how long ago they changed it. Like, was it just today? Yesterday? A week ago? What did they have before? It's all very mystifying.

Oh, I getcha. I only just realised what a slot car is. Like a Scalextrix, yeah?
