I feel like there needs to be two different words for weird. One for cool, chill, turtle weirdness, and one for forum members are selling me at the low low price of 8 for $9000.00 weirdness.

Maybe we can bring back the Anglo-Saxon spelling of weird for the other meaning you're talking about, Cass.

I think "Wyrd" was like a rite of passage or a life goal or something though. It's been a while since I read Beowulf.

Because someone stole 40 lots of wyrds. Why, that's as many as 4 tens and that's terrible.

Anyone know of any city building type free games that don't involve paying for materials to build things, or wait for them to be built? So basically a drag n drop style.

HEY! No stealing my common use of tis, thy, thoust, thou. That's my thing! Get ye own thing if thy does not fancy a duel at dawn where thous shall perish. Tis envitable.

On a very unrelated note, for the first time in my life, i used a proper shaver. Turns out my beard is too much for it despite me reducing it all to stubble. I may have to go back to the setting it on fire approach. It's efficent, clean and perfect for cold days.

Hey! I'm not stealing it! There are no words reserved for certain people! Besides, I've been using "'tis" for a long time. Tomorrow's the anniversary of my first time using it on the forums (no joke). You've never remarked upon it before. :wat: Besides, I'd duel you for my right to use a wide range of vocabulary any day of the week.

Not sure about that.
I have a few words reserved for certain people.

Today, on Tales From the Crypt:
Guys, Aarah was pretty normal.
Spoiler:
But look at how cute she was when she introduced herself.

I feel like I'm interupting a room full of people and they're all staring.
Oh well. Bye then.

Aw, and look at the two of you now.

She seemed to enjoy using "u" and "ud".

Yeh, I presumed u were good at it.

I dont think ud make a good couple im afraid

you know ud love it really...

And you know, she had a couple of odd posts.
Quote:
yesterday I was Alarra, today im a man.... im just sooooo mysterious.... *(pulls hood over head and spins cloak over shoulder whilst running silently into the night...)*

Yes the wolf does have somewhat of a sexy smoulder going on.

Lastly, it seems that she did break the rules, after all. Double posting? My my my. At least she was nice and apologized for it.
Quote:
Apologies for whatever infringement commited.

But overall, I'd say that Aarah was pretty similar to what she's like now.

I'm worried because I know that 2010 me's posting style is indistinguishable from TSD.

Cassandra could probably make a fun game out of it, take one of my early posts and one of his early posts and ask who said it.

No, I think early Aarah was a bit more whimsical. But now? She's very much earned that playful and fun part from being the forum games expert(and closet GD troll)

I remember this! It feels so long ago though.

I'm pretty confident that the only thing that will be found in my old posts is some terrible, terrible RPing. I interacted mainly through RPs for a long time - and then used chat back when it was chat.

I presume you remember it because it was annoying, yes?
ud? Not even an apostrophe? Lazy.

I'm not sure if it's a bad thing that I'm pretty much the same now. Seems to indicate that I've not grown as a person in the last four years.

@Beta
I'm not sure how I got the title of forum games expert.
*Looks sympathetically at the tumbleweeds blowing through the forum games subforum*

And I wouldn't agree with the closet GD troll. I've been out of the closet for ages.

I think if you go back to my early posts you'll just find a lot of really bad jokes and mediocre RPing.

...In other words, the same as what you'll find if you look at my posts from any other time here.
