Is it just me.. Or is this network/sponsorship deal really missing the mark by not having a tv kitchen show staring me and said special guests? I mean.. Have you seen the Food Thread?

Yeaah, why is it not accepting a food show? Beta, buddy, we should campaign for it! With your unholy love of cakes, my insanity and experiments, we could create the best goshdarn show about cakes in the history of cakes! I will make that tuna cakek at some point you cannea silence me!

So long as every episode we start and finish by drinking some cold brewed ice tea, garnished with a French flag, and only compliments are acceptable

I'll have you know that Aarah Time is a really fun show, that comprises me chatting with folk, a talent show section, and then a hand puppet show where I give a funny voice to a monkey puppet, that's fun for adults and kids alike.
I may or may not engage in one of these acts in real life...

Is there a difference between cold tea, and cold brewed tea?

It's just that 'brewing' tea in cold water is alien to me. I haven't heard of it before, so I did think it meant making hot tea and then leaving it to get cold.
Cold tea makes me go 'bleugh.' Dovah knows.

Because I will do it. I will insult it and it will suffer the burns. There will be no ice for it to apply to it and it will forever cry as it fails to counter the insults.

As for Aarah time. It is only used for padding. The other networks laughed at it due to the poor quality but this network took a great risk with it and it failed but can't cancel it thus padding time.

No, with cold brewed goods like tea or coffee, your substituting heat and energy for time. It takes longer to brew, much longer.

Coffee for example, when cold brewed, lacks much of the bitterness and acidity bc of how the chemicals from the beans are extracted.. With some proving to infuse to a greater and smoother degree given the time.

So much fixing to do.

The hot to cold method, and the cold from the start method.
I was just wondering, if they did end up tasting the same, you could make a hot batch of tea in a couple of minutes and then stick it in the fridge (or add ice).

Disclaimer: I actually have nothing against people having cold tea. Have it how you like. I just express it as scandalous to be dramatic and to tease.

Ya, no, that won't work out as well. I mean, you could make iced tea from the mix.. But it's sort of the middle child of the two. The vastly insuperior middle child

I'm showing my poor food/drink knowledge again, but what's in an ice tea mix (not Long Island)? I always thought Iced Tea was exactly what it said on the tin.

Regarding the first part, yeah I do that a lot. I just usually don't care enough to go through the work of typing it all out. Text walls take me forever because I constantly go back and re phrase something or correct spelling or whatever. I'm a [@#@] on this forum (it's therapeutic) but I do have a serious side to me. The latter part.... Too adult. Listen to the song Use Me by Bill Withers and use your imagination.

I think you're talking of the cold brew/instant brew crap. If I'm right that stuff is basically cool aid. Add a spoonful to cold water and stir. Sweet/iced tea is as native to south US as soul food. We generally brew it in the same fashion you typically would but in a gallon batch and then let it cool. Also here in the south tea generally has a ridiculous amount of sugar, I suppose that's where I stray from tradition.

Personally I like to think we have a Hange/Levi friendship dynamic going on. You're the one who's competent, organised and has a traumatic past you don't like to talk about (working at a Ren Fair, all your friends being eaten by giant monsters, same thing really.) And I'm the ambiguously gendered nerd who's overly passionate about my interests and who's name you're not entirely sure how to pronounce. But despite our differences, we get along really well and have a mutual respect for our knowledge and skills.

I'm pretty sure Ed hates milk because Hiromu Arakawa grew up on a diary farm.

That was British Beta. I have yet to hear other Beta.

Not sure about that part. I could've sworn she grew up on a dairy farm... But yeah, that's why.

Also, she's doing (done?) a manga called Silver Spoon based on her experiences at agricultural school. I'd really like to read it at some point.
