Superior? Yes at one and one thing only. It is a superior brand at sucking. You sir, make tea that suck and shall be forever branded as the man who makes awful tea and subjected to silent judgement.

Having ground floor and first floor mean the same thing, that's a good idea which we should all get behind. But no electric kettles? Americans are missing out big time.

So do you use a stove every time you want to boil water?

I have a nagging suspicion I could easily get an electric kettle it's just that I don't want one. I'm not aware of anyone having one either though I'll admit I'm not a member of the prestigious American Electric Kettle Society (AEKS).

Joking aside I don't drink hot drinks (I make tea for iced tea) and I don't think I know anybody that does. Anyone that drinks coffee gets it from a coffee maker. There's just no use in adding it to the kitchen arsenal.

And the most lazy name that they could pick! I mean, really? New? Were they in a hurry to name it and someone mentioned England thus going "Screw it, New England it is?"

I always chuckle at that myself. Virginia was in honour of the queen but at least it sounds good and frankly no American is aware where that came from so everyone thinks it's just some born outta nowhere American thing. But New England is just [&@%!] lazy.

It's like naming a state after a british city and adding new into it.

Oh right, New York did that.

I wonder if they were trying to just show off whilst mocking England at the time? "Look, we have a new state. It's NEW ENGLAND. It's bigger, better and yuugee in numbers. Old England sucks. Sonics rule!" Yes, even in England, we're aware of the Sonics.

There's loads of them in the US. New Jersey, New York, New York, New Orleans, New Hampshire, New Mexico etc, and not forgetting Canada's Nova Scotia.

The electric kettle is most likely the most used item in a British kitchen.

And the odd rampage across UESPF whenever someone burns her organic food. Which I never did or never will do so whoever keeps spreading rumours about me better stop it and if it's me that is doing it, i am going to kick my own arse until it begs for mercy to show me who is boss.

Where as, I'm a very complicated man and unpredictable.
