I don't like the sound of this at all. Beta + Kerr = world go boom.
*Fast forward ten years into the future...oh, look, this is where the partnership first got going. Quick, let's time travel back to this day and save the world!*
(I'm assuming Beta is the woman in that picture, seeing as he likes smug anime girls so much. Or alternatively, whomever is the shortest in height of the two of you.)

@Kerr: Tu-Tu-Ruu all the way!! (Warning: Language)

As long as no-one nicks my place as resident madgod, winder upper of Northern Aarahs, Harbinger of cheeses except blue cheese. It's mouldy! You are eating mould! You are eating food that is waaay past it's use by date and rotting. Come on! It's mouldy cheese! Who looks at Mould and goes "Mmm, I like the taste of mould. I know, let's create cheese that is mouldy and sell it." Seriously, mouldy cheese should be disposed off! Anyway, continuing on, foodie, mad Englishman that defies the English sterotype of being 17th-18th century posh, consumer of fine programs, lord of tuts, lord of tuts:The Tutting, Lord Tuttingworth: Revenge of the Tuts, Tutnardo, Tut the Tut engine, Tut Wars, Tut Trek.... *List cut short due to site not being able to handle the tuttage* *tuts loudly*, archenemy of cakes(apparently) and reader, i have naught to say about shifty eyes or anime or UESP secretly being anime central and the whole Elder Scrolls thing is a cover.

Beta does love his smug anime girls but yeah, I probably am the Kurisu and he's the Okabe when it comes to our relationship dynamic.

Running back to a bus after a concert and getting on while really dehydrated (I didn't get time to go to a shop) and then not being able to drink for an hour and a half, wouldn't recommend it. I can talk about how much I'd miss internet, toilet paper and chocolate if some sort of apocalypse happened but man, water from the tap. Drinking, cooking, cleaning. It's so good and it's just there in your house whenever you want it. Apart from that one time I was in Scotland and the water came out brown and undrinkable, that kind of not safe for human consumption water I can do without.

Beta is 98% anime, 2% cake and for some reason, an additional 100% lamp.

As for water in Scotland. I neither confirm or deny that we, English had anything to do with it. Nor does the sudden appearance of shifty eyes have anything to do with this statement.

On another note, i dislike tap water. Rather have flavoured water if i'm having water at all. However, i'm more of a juice/hotdrinks/tea kinda guy. I may or may not have just snorted an entire herbal teabag followed up by loose tea leaves. :P

Only if you bathe in the glory of the Dovah and admit that I, The Sheodovah is greater then all things Beta. And no, you can't add pie into the mix. It messes up the figures and Aarah will cry when it affects her list.

Really? That is....

Why use public domain music when you can use Send Me On My Way by Rusted Root? I'm pretty sure that song was created to be used for montages in family films.

Also I just made a post outside General to acknowledge it exists. That'll do me for another 4 months.

True, we'll just have to see if those hopes pan out.

I started playing Assassin's Creed 4 because I like pirates, haven't played any of the other ones apart from some of the first game 9 years ago. So when the main character is pretending to be an assassin and people start talking about "the precursor civilization" and he pretends to know what they're talking about I'm just like yep, right with you buddy. I'm pretty sure the game was designed in such a way that people who aren't familiar with the series can easily get aboard.

You do meet Stede Bonnet really early on which I like because he's one of the most interesting pirates I've heard of. He was basically just a rich guy with no experience of sailing who decided hey, being a pirate sounds fun, I should do that. So he commissioned a ship instead of stealing one and hired a crew which he paid wages instead of shares of loot, the crew pretty quickly realized he had no idea what he was doing so they just went "Hey, you're a great captain and should keep being captain, but we'll just handle the actual running of the ship, that sound good?"

But my favorite pirate history trivia is the time Benjamin Hornigold and his crew attacked a ship and stole nothing but their hats because they'd gotten drunk the night before and thrown theirs overboard.

I played the game thrice, but was a bit disappointed how easy it was to get a 100% sync and complete the game and all objectives in it. By the end of my playing sessions, there would be no more quests to complete, no more legendary ships to destroy, no more quests to be undertaken, no more outfits or upgrades to be unlocked, nothing more to do.

I did like the third part due to this, because the quests were a bit bigger and I could track how much I had completed. I'm trying to get my paws upon Assassin's Creed II, let's see what can be done.

Assassin's Creed 2 and the sequel AC:Brotherhood have to be one of my personal top gaming experiences of all time. I think I have played them through start-to-finish back-to-back every year since they came out.

The combat system is a bit clunky compared to AC4 but the story and the portrayal of Renaissance Italy is just top-notch.

Also I think that AC:Brotherhood is the one AC game that does the 'modern-day' sequences really well.

I love AC4 and apart from the medicore modern day stuff, it is easily the best in the franchise for me. Ok, maybe, second best as ACII has the best plot and at the time, turned around what was a medicore franchise into an excellent one. AC1 was repetitive as heck and boring to play at times. I hate the modern day plot though. Ok, 1-3 was interesting but after that? I got fed up as it's dull. Let me be a pirate, darnit! Let me do whatever i want in the setting. Not forced go to A and then B in the modern day stuff.

I disagree with how easy 4 is to 100% as there are some BS ones and the legendary ships are not easy to beat. I will admit, the ship stealth sections were awful. I mean, it's a ship. Not excatly the most subtle of all ships and quite notable. I hope Ubisoft uses what AC4 did with Pirates in terms of gameplay and start up a new Pirate based franchise.

AC:Rogue was AC4.5 and er... not as good as it's too short and the plot suffers as a result.

AC3 was a mixed opinion for me. I liked the improved combat but the plot? 6 hours before it decides to fully open up? And a decoy protagnist that is interesting then start with the actual one. Erm... ok but that doesn't work as well as AC2 doing Ezio from the begining.

Shame AC4 couldn't do naval MP as that would be awesome to play.

I admit they are not particularly easy but I beat them with tactics. I did lose like 6 times before taking out the last of the ships, but it was not that difficult. I did practice many times before. The last time I played the game was when I was 13.

Black Sails was a charm, but honestly, not what I expected out of an AC experience.. I.e dating back to the earlier installments. I know the more recent ones are sort of.. Well, [&@%!]

Anyways. Ya, alot of the naval challenges can seriously be out done by cheap or smart tactics and capitalizing/abusing what advantages you got. Like, idk, the mortar, ram, and being in their blind spots. Not to mention speed and minimalized damage

But mates.. Those tavern songs and the like.. And that ending 'long drawn out pause' ..It was.. Damn near the best thing ever

Also pirates. Gotta live em

I had the disease once, I would sing the shanties in my dreams, whenever I was free or somewhere alone. That was early-teenhood.

Early-teenager me liked pirates, dragons and Jedi Knights. Older me now likes elves, dragons and Jedi Knights. Some things never change.
