I'm in the exact same boat. I was sure I'd get paid today, but nope, no money until Monday. Hahahaha...

Mmmm :wat: Leroy, I will cook for you anyday.

That is if you find me a nice classy bulter outfit, and don't complain about the time nor make demands.. Then you sir have a deal

Offer expires when I realize I'm not getting my butler outfit

Why do you need a butler outfit, surely a chef's outfit would be more appropriate?
And of course you can't have a butler outfit: if leroy has no money for dinner, he sure hasn't got enough to buy you costumes. Tut.

Leroy, I have some stuff in the fridge. If you can get a free flight or a boat to the UK, you can have dinner in a minimum of ten hours, to a maximum of about 7 weeks.
(I'd go with the aeroplane. Cannot guarantee food will still be in the fridge in several weeks time).

And what? Pass up the opportunity to be like Alfred? Admit it.. You'd like to feel like batman being served dinner. And I, Beta, want to be the one serving said dinner ^__^ (I have strange aspirations. This should surprise nobody. Get use to it)

Also, the outfit would certainly help legitimize my offers for hosting dinner dates for friends and their significant other for a reasonable fee

I can't say that the thought of being Batman being served dinner by Alfred has ever appealed to me. Though I have thought about standing on a tall rooftop at night with a leather cape flowing behind me in the wind.

I can't deny that Alfred is an essential and loyal aid to Batman, and the fact that you would choose to be him rather than the gadget wielding anti-hero is rather nice.
Hidden:
I looked but couldn't find a really appropriate scene from the show Brooklyn 99 where one character would too rather be Alfred than Batman.

Alfred is the true hero in the franchise. Seriously, what can't he do? Alfred cannot be outmatched

It's going to be dinner time in a couple hours and I've eaten all the food in the house. Also I'm broke. I need one of you to buy or cook me dinner. That being said I require a lot of food and I'm somewhat picky.
If I'd been in Jacksonville for more than 5 minutes this past summer I was totally buying you dinner and a beer. That does you little good now, I know, but I'm not a miracle worker. Best I can do at the moment is mail you a grilled cheese sandwich.

Wait, Leroy lives in Jacksonville? Sufjan Stevens wrote a song about that town! Though it was the one in Illinois...

Step 5: Spend the rest of your time with fictional people, in fictional worlds, that aren't so weird.

Or just live as a hermit. That'd work too.

*give or take

Step 2 is the most difficult, everyone is too normal

You know what's really [&@%!] ironic about all this is I just watched Deadpool for the first time like an hour ago and I'm basically positive I've eaten at the same TGI Fridays as him. Just kinda funny.

So basically one of you [&@%!] has to buy me TGI Fridays.

Oh and scrib let me guess: I-10 to 95 north? Or visa versa.

Legitimately don't remember but that sounds right. We actually stayed over night, but we were idiots and forgot about the time change, so it was like 2 AM when we got in and we had to leave by like 8. I think we were on the south side. I know it was a Red Roof Inn.

There's a few of those hotels here but would be odd for you to be at south side one, kinda out of the way. That being said Jax is a giant city and it's easy to get confused.

What if we only know what your avatar is because you told us? Can we truly reach the same levels of gr8-ness, then?

You're 100% right, it was out of our way. We didn't think about that when we made the reservation haha. The city looked amazing, for the brief amount of time we saw it. I'm absolutely planning on going back sometime. We were hoping it would be this summer, but I'm not sure that's going to happen. Next year.

Are you but a hop, skip and a jump from Toronto, or is it more of a trek?

More like a 2-4 hour drive. It's not too far, and more reasonable than say.. Crossing the border to go harass Alarra
>_>

Kinda did a bit of reflecting a few minutes ago. I was going through my old school reports. *sigh* So much potential if I had buckled down and ignored the bleeps that influenced me. Young Dovah wasn't very socialable and young Dovah's experience at secondary(high) school was mainly crap. Tis been an interesting past 7 years since i've rebuilt my life, gained friends, decided on what career path. *sigh* I wonder what I'll be in 7 years time? Apart from being successful. Man, I do have some regrets but who doesn't?

Ah, i'm just in a bit of a reflective mood.

I saw bigots being laughably bigoted. Still, can someone please give me something to have any faith in this damned species?

Anyone here have any idea of what gift I can give my (girl)friend on her 17th birthday? She'll be 17 in half a week.
