I imagine this is more than correct. I have gotten my best advice for professors, too.

Though, I'm aiming for a PhD and probably academia: I can't imagine myself in a normal 9-5 with the sorry state of my attention span.

@ProphetDragon: If it's any comfort my life vastly improved on attending university.

Though, a job with a firm that isn't owned by your father will look better to employers, so if you can I'd aim for others first, with that as a fallback.

I have to respect your ambition. Good on you. Hope it works out.

It's the song by Rolling Stones (you can't always get what you want) unless I'm very much mistaken. Sorry I didn't see this earlier.

As for else, I think I need a job that requires a bit of creativity. If I just get a job and me and my friends stay together in the near future then my entire life is set.

It is only fortunate for me that my relatives are spread all around the globe. My aunt in California, my uncle in Toronto, several people in Bangalore, family friends in New Zealand and others in Australia. I can go anywhere and I will be home. My older coz hopes to go to England and my best friend is half American. Serana (that's my girlfriend and don't ask why the nickname is so) has a family mapping similar to mine and we both are closely related (friends).

I do not seek fame, for that is something I abstain from. But still I will be comfortable with it, finally some times I think there is an ending to our story: "And they lived happily ever after till the end of their days."

Are you willing to risk even one picture of a destroyed cake? We all know I'm not entirely sane and the destruction of cakes is something that would amuse me. For you, it would be the most awful thing to occur this week and become the most important day of your life. For me, it would be a mere act of pettiness.

Job stuff again, I know, I've gone on a lot about it this week due to topics.

I seem to be a mystery. Literally no-one knows why I ain't getting interviews. Hoping at the end of the month, I know why. If not, it'll really kill my motivation. I mean, I kinda am unmotivated at the moment. Had a lapse regarding my getting up at 9am routine and going to be at midnight stuff. Cleaning is falling behind constantly etc.. All because it feels like that anything I apply for, i may as well just kiss my wall. The wall would be a better use of time in that case. Christmas is cancelled for me and on Monday, I intend to contact a few agencies, chase up a job and have a hard long think about if taking up a second source of volunteering and doing a workplace is worth it. Would be hampered by the cost of travel unless I more or less severely limit my shopping to a mere one day. Walking is an option but when I've got two heavy bags, I rather not walk.

They say doing an apprenticeship is a good idea. To a degree, it is. I say that because it's over a bleeping year and I can never even get bleeping interviews because apparently, I don't deserve to even get a bleeping job despite my efforts.

Yeah, I'm a bit frustrated in that regards. oh and I am really fed up of the "life on benefits" crap that Channel 5. It isn't interesting! Why is scraping by considered to be an interestng thing!? It's not! It's not fun! It sucks! Screw you, Channel 5! BURN THE WORLD! BURN THEM ALL!

I best stop before I go into proper ranty Dovah mode.

Have you considered shooting a bit lower? Get yourself a temp job in retail or something so you're not unemployed and miserable. Believe it or not, the fact that you haven't been working for over a year looks worse than if you had been working a shifty job during that time.

TLD volunteers which should mute the signal. Though there is a tonne of evidence that people in long-term unemployment are disadvantaged by there very long-term unemployment, so the advice is the same as I would give.

Nevertheless, I don't think he's looking for advice.

---

We got our dissertation advisors today. I got one of the nicest and best-intentioned professors in the entire school. But he's a Theorist - Economic Geographer - whilst what I'm submitting is effectively an exercise in applied statistics - with some relevance to Geography insofar as it deals with agglomerations, but really not too much.

Unfortunately, though the one I wanted - who, in contrast to the above, is humourless and sort of a dick - got given to someone I know is a terrible student. Oh well.

I think I should continue my studies and work and let time intervene to see what happens later on. For now I think I should focus on something else, but what?

All I do is just study, write stories, date two girls (officially one) and act like a lizard.

You can start by not dating two girls without both of them knowing.

Remember kids, there's a difference between polyamory and cheating. And that difference is just everyone knowing and being cool with it. There are some scenarios where cheating is okay (abusive relationships basically) but for the most part you shouldn't do it because it's pretty [&@%!].

But we can all agree that as long as everybody knows and agrees, we're cool with it, right?

I'm glad I can always depend on good individuals with the right idea to correctly elaborate on my rather terse commentary.

Oh yeah, of course. That's why I said cheating is (usually) bad, polyamory is totally cool.

Yes, polyamory is cool.

Also, abbreviating Meta's platform section from his profile makes it read "El PC" which is funny.

My case is polyamoric. The girl whom I call sister is someone who just wants to engage with me just because she likes me or rather thinks I'm hot!

The other girl is someone whom I call girlfriend and she loves me, is my age and we know each other for five years. She is very open minded and says it is fair for me to be polyamoric. Though I don't know why she wants me to do that but I hope that what I am doing is not cheating.

[Thoughts] Hmm, looks to me: two girls are attracted to me, both call me hot, cute and handsome. I'M FABULOUS. I'm Aragorn to Arwen and Eowyn.

Or Mako to Korra and Asami.

That was the best way for that love triangle to end. They were way better than Mako who was just sort of an ass.

You can't even complain about the smug anime faces, if you do Beta will just respond with a smug anime face.

I think the world would be better if we had less love triangles, and more love mexican-standoffs.

I thought of you this morning when I had oatmeal with warm granola mixed in and a bit of maple syrup. Idk if you have Quaker in Germany but they have this brand of mixed granola, nuts, and dried berries which is amazing.

And yea...dating two people at once without them knowing is trouble. Been there, done that, I hurt a lot of people and made myself look like a total jerk. Luckily I changed my ways, learned my lessons, and married a solid human being. And why did I cheat on my previous boyfriend? Because he was abusive. So no, it's not cool under that circumstance either. Take it from a late 30-something. Now carry on.

I don't intend to date until I have a stable source of income.

I wasn't looking for advice regarding jobs. Just saying how hard it can be to get a job then almost ranting. But I'll keep that stuff away for a while.

I've never had any crushes or first kisses and whilst some may deem me a "Loser and failure." I flat out ignore those people because I know I am a success. Just because one has never had a first kiss and is in their early(ish) 20s doesn't mean one should be mocked for doing so. Everyone is different and everyone has different experiences. I don't intend to focus on social stuff, dating and starting my life properly until the job situation is resolved.

I also give society the middle finger if they think they can label me in such a negative way.
