We all do, sweetie. If it were, it wouldn't be worth experiencing.

I am just stepping into adulthood and now I feel all the troubles one faces after maturity. At first I have to complete my studies these few years, then I have to get a good job and also seek to publish my stories.

Give me an interesting idea for a shooter, like in Portal (sorta).

You should play Superhot, it's the most innovative shooter I've played in years. It's a game where time only moves as you move (which is actually a lie, time moves very slowly when you don't move) and you use that to your advantage to take out all the bad guys. It's almost entirely based around that mechanic but in the game's defense, it is a very fun mechanic.

The story mode is short which suits the game, the story itself is bad though, at least I didn't care for it. But the mechanics are really fun and you unlock new challenges and an endless horde mode once you finish the game. Much like Hotline Miami it's an action game which is fun to just pick up and play for like 20 minutes. Although unlike Hotline Miami it doesn't have a kickass soundtrack so you'll have to play Jim Croce's Time in a Bottle on your own musical device. Don't buy it at full price (which is good advice for most games) but I do recommend picking it up on sale.

I don't know why my teacher would never give me any score over 90. In the last exam the highest I got was exactly 89 in three subjects - mathematics, computer science and physics. I leak in chemistry.

Tis part of life and I wouldn't assume that you can get a good job after a few years of studies. The job market is very fierce and whilst qualifications are always good, experience is often the major point that employers are after. You may end up starting from the bottom but everyone has to start somewhere. It is easy to let it overwhelm you. I did and we all know what Negative Dovah was like. But it is always worth exploring options to help gain experience, improve your resume etc... Students are sought after, yes but if they find someone that is more experienced, 90% of the time, it will go to them. It is worth considering picking up a part time job when studying. Yes, it may swallow up some evenings or take up your weekend but having a source of income and working a part time job whilst studying could give you an advantage.

Don't do what I did and get cocky after studying. Seriously, i'm not kidding. Don't assume that because you finished studying and having a qualification means it's easier to get a job. I did with my apprenticeship and over a year later since finishing it, no job.

I know i've gone on about the job situation a lot the past few days but I feel that my...... unique....... life experience in the unemployment sector has given me the ability to give out advice on this topic.

But the important thing to do when unemployed or struggling to get a job is to not let it overwhelm you. I did. Got depressed. Bounced back and turned into a right negative thing, rebooted myself, improved and giving it the bird every day to avoid it ruining my contention. Sure, I'm not happy but I am content with where I am at the moment. I will be very happy(probably be a massive bout of boasting, excitement and smugness occuring for a few hours if that occurs) when I get me a job.

Oh and something, something Silly. Suppose I best keep up the reputation as the Silly one of UESP. :P

I guess it's still a few years until I start a real job. Fortunately my father already has a self-made business in which I can join my early years to make some money and then perhaps join any software company once I finish my education. I hope to publish my story sometime around 2030 or '35.

This is bugging me, cos it sounds so familiar, but I can't think what it's from.

In comedy news, I noticed that my box of teabags had a picture of a cup of tea on it and next to it the words, 'Serving Suggestion'.
Put it in a cup! How inspired! And here I've been drinking it out of a tin can all these years. Remember, guys, cups!

You know, I've noticed that all of the major fiction-hosting sites tend to be super infantile and full of whiny self-infatuated children. Are there actually any good sites to put your writing on these days?

I don't know. This is a business for me meaning I have fiction for sale, not up for free on a website. I did have a blog at one time and shared some stuff on there but promptly took it down after I got an internet stalker. Crazy cakes.

It's from a Rolling Stones song. And I'm still flabbergasted that the English drink tea out of tea bags...not loose tea in a strainer, which is superior in flavor. Js. You tea loving nation!

Teabags are convienent, allows us to engage in the art of pretending to listen whilst actually focusing on the brewing process and makes for handy weapons in times of mass annoyance.

Serving suggestions are all lies. Half a can of soup is apparently enough for one person. It barely has enough to fill an entire bowl! Half a pack of crisps is enough for one. You're lucky if you have half a pack of crisps that isn't air! The "Sharing" size portions are never shared. But i don't think "You greedy sod." would help sell them.

And Aarah always drank out of a tin can? Just how savage can you northerners get?

Beta, put down the pictures of sane cakes and step away from the fortress of Betatitude which looks like a pillow fort. We promise that they will be looked after and not devoured.

Ha ha. So true. Nothing like making you feel more guilty for eating a whole pack of, say, chocolate buttons, than when you then notice it says on the back, 'this pack contains three serving'. >_>
Yeah, half a can of soup? Maybe if you're having a three course meal and it's the starter, but if you're just having it with bread or whatever for lunch, the whole can is needed.

And Aarah always drank out of a tin can? Just how savage can you northerners get?
Very. And baked beans - cold, eaten straight out of the tin!

I felt like it was from some theme tune from a tv show, but I must have just heard the song.

I've actually never had loose tea. It's always been teabags wherever I've been. Usually round, sometimes pyramids, and on the odd occasion, squares.
Loose tea tends to be thought of as quite posh for some reason. It's probably more expensive and higher quality leaves, perhaps.

I'm getting angry Hulk hostility from your words and then sleepy, 'I've had a few glasses of wine', couldn't care less vibe from that person's expression.
So, you were mad, but now you're chill. All is well, Dovah. :)
