Yodah was keeping pace with Percy, and noticed he was struggling to hold onto Aidan.

"Let me hold one of his arms o you don't have to hold all of his weight!" Yodah yelled over the sound of the gargantuan arachnid breaking down another tree.

Yodah tripped over his untied shoe lace and crashed into Percy, knocking him and Aidan to the ground. The spider lunged at them and was about to eat them when a crossbow bolt flew from behind a tree and hit the Acromantula in the eye.

The spider made one last endeavour before backing off as yet more bolts continued to strike it. It shrieked and retreated deep into the forest. A huge, stockily built man with a black, bushy beard walked over to the three boys.

"What the hell to you think you are doing?" He yelled. "If I hadn't seen that Ravenclaw fleeing, you could have been spider grub. Let's get you back to the castle."

"Woah.... Thanks.... Uh.... Who are you?" Yodah asked the huge man.

"Rubeus Hagrid. Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts." He replied. "I'm a half-Giant if you didn't notice."

"Oh....well thanks Hagrid.... If you hadn't been here, well we would've gotten eaten by a giant spider on our first day of classes." said Yodah, glaring at Aidan.

Meanwhile, Thëllënza had made her way up to the school, where she had retreated to the library, reading through the book, she'd gotten lost with a little while earlier.

"And we don't want that. Do we?" He laughed. "You three better head up to school. It'll be dinner soon!"

"Not at all. All right, thanks again Hagrid!" said Yodah, already walking back up to the castle.

"Yeah. Thanks!" Shouted |Aidan at the huge figure walking away into the distance.

"That is the last time I follow you anywhere near that forest...." said Yodah.

"That's the last time I go into the forest." He laughed, before groaning. "I need to go back in tonight."

"You do? Why?"

"Detention." He walked further back into the forest leaving Yodah confused.

"Oh..Right... Well, see you back in the common room later tonight then...." said Yodah. He walked back to the castle, and went back to the common room to wait for dinner.

Aidan came to a nice point in the forest, where there was a sizeable gap in the trees and some bushes. He leaned on one of the moss-covered trunks and sighed. He scouted around for danger and concluded that all was peaceful. Nothing to disturb him in this serene alcove. A few feet away from him, open and twisted, was a heavy, blue book. He bent down to inspect it. It bellonged to Thellenza.

"She must have dropped it when she tripped over the root." He muttered to himself, throwing the textbook into his bag.

He began to walk towards the edge of the forest and up to the castle.

Yodah walked down to the Great Hall, were other students were already beginning to gather. He sat down at the Gryffindor table, saving some spaces around him in case Alistair or Aidan showed up.

Thëllënza, having dozed off on top of the book she was reading, woke up eliciting the words: "No thanks, I don't like mustard!"

She looked around confusedly, before noticing where she was. "Maybe it's dinner soon?" She began trekking down to the great hall.

Aidan pushed open the doors to the Entrance Hall and saw Thellenza walking over to the large iron doors that led into the Great Hall, where plates of steaming food sat waiting to be eating by hundreds of mouths.

"Thellenza!" He shouted, running over to her, shaking the book. "You dropped this."

"I'm fairly sure I picked my book up when I got up. Just before you crashed through with that blasted spider," Thëllënza said, turning towards the doors to the great hall.

He opened it and turned to the front page, where Thellenza's name was scrawled across the top. "I'm fairly certain it's yours. Thellenza, although its lovely, isn't a common name."

"Strange... Oh, and nice try with the compliment, but no thank you," Thëllënza said, grabbing the book and walking into the great hall, hungry for dinner.
