ES Games: arena, daggerfall, morrowwind, oblivion, battlespire, skyrim

UESPoints: 0
The guard in the mage's guild who gives quests has stopped doing so. He will only "talk" to me. Plus, I am only "Evoker" rank and it seems no matter how many quests I do for the guild I am not gaining any ranks. How do I get a better rank?

Try running FIXSAVE on your save files and see if that fixes it. It's possible that you have a quest that the game hasn't marked as completed or failed, so the quest-giver doesn't know to give you a new quest. FIXSAVE should (no promises) fix that for you.

As for the advancement: it has to do with your skills as well as your reputation AND you are only eligible for advancement 1 month after the previous advancement; if it's only been a few weeks you gotta wait longer!
