I'm fighting an ancient vampire in the quest for the underking. My character is a khajiit rogue with little magic. any suggestions on surviving? :(

I haven't played Daggerfall, but I hated the few times I had to face a vampire in Arena, because it was nearly impossible for me to win-- and I was a Knight with good armor and the best weapon I could find!

According to the following page, it's recommended that you have items which give you "A method of resisting shock damage and/or paralysis."

I know that while replaying Arena I've managed to come across some nice weapons with magical attacks, such as one with "life steal," which have been very helpful in dealing with powerful enemies-- but I haven't run across a vampire yet in my replay. According to this page there are similar items in Daggerfall, so you might want to look for one.
