Maps outside of the privateers hold does not load up and I cannot travel. I have installed the game correctly and played the first dungeon 3 times now and have had the same result: the maps will not load. It says at first that I cannot upload a map near the entrance to privateers hold, but once I go outside the area, the map will not do anything at all. Please help! I need to play this game again!

Did you install the Daggerfall 213 patch? I'm not sure that's your problem but among other things it does fix some problems with the in-game map including duplicate town names which can cause crashes.
