I've got Evoker rank in the Mages guild and tried spellmaking. I can get the spellmaking screen to open when i talk to the merchants for it in the Mages guild, but then when i add an effect nothing happens when i click the + symbol buttons, when i click exit any choice of spell class (e.g touch) has reverted to 'self' and after naming the spell and clicking on 'buy' nothing happens. Can anyone help please?

EDIT ; ok i have found the solution to part of this.

You don't click on the + or - signs themselves but the vague grey arrows just above or below the numbers. And to click buy you don't click on the word, but the picture of the bag of money beside it.

I still have the problem that every spell seems to go back to being 'caster only' as soon as i click exit from editing it though. any help appreciated.
