After having just finished the CD Version of Arena with my Breton Knight character.I have decided to move onto Daggerfall.I trying to make a good build but I don't wanna pick a high elf since that is what I used in first playthrough and I looking something a little different.

So here is my build so far

Race:Breton
Class:Custom

Attributes to Focus on

Agility
Speed
Endurance
Intelligence
Willpower
Strength

Dump Stats
Personality and Luck

Primary Skills

Long Blade
Critical Strike
Backstabbing

Major Skills
Dodging
Medical
Thaumaturgy

Minor Skills
Mysticism
Alteration
Restoration
Illusion
Stealth
Archery

Max Hit points per Level:30

Advantages

Must Have

Expertise in Long Blade
Immunity to Paralysis
Increased Magery 3X
Spell Absorption in Darkness

Would be nice

Athleticism
Acute Hearing
Rapid Healing in Darkness

Disadvantages

Critical Weakness to Poison,Disease
Forbidden Weaponry Axe,Blunt
Forbidden Shield Types Buckler,Round
Maybe more?

Skill Bonuses
Long Blade
Medical
Restoration

Questions:Doesn't matter just pick Ebony Dagger

How is this build? I haven't made it in-game yet, to see how it plays in character creation. This is just a loose framework feel free to give your input and advice on what changes need to made.

It looks decent but I wouldn't bother with the acute hearing as it doesn't actually help much and it actually makes it harder to find a place to rest in dungeons. Since you can hear the monsters from farther away you must therefore get that much farther away to rest.

So skip acute hearing. It sounded useful but from what your saying its sounds like it does more harm then good.

yeah I made a kahjitt thief once and figured it should have acute hearing but I ended up throwing the character away because I couldn't get though any dungeons Athleticism is really good though if you plan on running and jumping a LOT or use heavy weapons.

This is the build, I'm using right now. And I'm sure, this is the best Daggerfall character build ever.

Race: Doesn't matter at all
Class: Custom

Attributes:

Agility: 60
Speed: 60
Strength: 60
Endurance: 60
Luck: As much as it possible
Intelligence: 15
Willpower: 15
Personality: the rest

To achieve those values you need during class creation make Strength, Speed, Agility and Endurance to be 55. Intelligence and Willpower drop to 15. Increase luck to maximum (75). The rest of skill points give to Personality.
At final character generation reroll untill Strength, Speed, Agility and Endurance will be less or equal to 60. Then distribute skill points to make them all 60. The rest of skill points give to Luck. If luck is 100% and you have extra skill pioints left, give them to Personality.

Primary Skills
Hand-to-Hand
Critical Strike
Backstabbing

Major Skills
Archery
Stealth
Dodging

Minor Skills
Short blade
Medical
Jumping
Running
Swimming
Climbing

Max Hit points per Level:30 (maximum available)

Advantages
Expertise in Hand-to-Hand
Immunity to Fire
Immunity to Frost
Immunity to Poison
Immunity to Shock
Immunity to Magic
Regenerate health general

Disadvantages
Critical Weakness to Paralysis, Disease
Light-based magery: Lower magic ability in Darkness
Light-based magery: Unable to use magic in Darkness
Darkness-based magery: Lower magic ability in Daylight
Darkness-based magery: Unable to use magic in Daylight
Inability to regenerate spell points: General

I guess, you understand what that physical attributes of value 60 means: your character generated to become a lycantrope. So, you have to catch lycantropy and become a were-creature ASAP. Now all your physical attributes at 100%. All you need then is to join a knightly order, get "The Artifact" quest, summon Hircine receive Hircine's Ring. Viola! Your "Best Character Ever" is ready!
