Daggerfall noob!!!

Hey ya'll so I have played Oblivion for like the last 6 years, and a little bit of Morrowind, and wanted to switch up my routine. what can I expect from Daggerfall?? I know the graphics wont be as good, but is the playability just as good? or will I get [&@%!] and go back to Oblivion? also If there are any hints that would be nice too! thanks

That depends. Daggerfall is a really good game, but for someone who is very used and/or attached to modern gaming it can be quite frustrating. The controls are quite strange and the whole game is much more complex. Give it a go since it's free and see for yourself.
My advice for a good experience is:
Generate your first characters class by answering questions.
Customize the controls.
Don't get fed up because of rats killing you. You'll get used to the game and it'll be easier.
Enable the tutorial on your first time.

your right bout the controls, the fact im on a mac makes it harder haha. for some reason I can't get the weapon to swing tho :oops:

That's a problem sometimes. Have you changed the mouse setting from "cursor" to "where you look is where you go"? That might help. When you have the cursor enabled I think it needs to be pointing on the weapon in order for it to execute the swing.
