Hello. I have a few questions/concerns.

1. The arrows group fine when I pick them up... but I don't want my archer to be carrying 100 arrows. Is there anyway to break them back up? I'd like to put some in the wagon. (I thought there was a way, but I can't remember/can't find it now.)

2. Ok this is concerning me. My games (I have a few characters that I am going back and forth from as a "race" just for fun) have been freezing sometimes when I try to ask "any news" of people. Really annoying when practicing streetwise or etiquette.

Plus I feel like I'm missing something important- since every other time when it works it just gives a comment on a previous quest (annoying when it's a month later and in a completely different city/province where you did the quest)
or a non-comment - such as "I try not to spread rumors" .

A way around this sometimes is to ask about something else first... BUT then I just get non-comments which makes me think the only click that counts is the first one and you can't ask multiple things and get any real stuff.

I've run fixsave and it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone know what is causing this? When I google it I just get stuff about "problem with running using the CD" which I'm not doing.

3. Ok when I played this game before a long time ago (I never finished btw) I edited the picture of my high elf so he had blond hair like he's supposed to. (All my characters - except for the one that's a version of me -- are based on AD&D characters) but now.. none of the game editors (tryed from here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Fil ... me_Editors) will work on windows 7!

Now I downloaded daggerfall from here: [ok it won't let me post the url ... it's a version of daggerfall that comes already set with dosbox... I don't have time to describe exactly where - I just wanted to put it in for reference]
because he came kinda married to dosbox - I didn't want to have to download dosbox separate and figure out how to run daggerfall on it - as far as I can tell I can't run dosbox separate - if I click on the icon dosbox.exe it just runs the game. the fixsave that came with it also is in dosbox already - so I wondered the following:

a) Is there a version of the picture editor that is already in dosbox and where do I find it?
or
b) Is there an editor that can edit IMG files on windows 7? (note I googled this and all I got was stuff that's supposed to "mount" the file - whatever that means... and it sounds way over my head so I didn't trust it.)
or
c) would someone be willing to edit the file/pic for me?


Even the skills editor done in 2008 didn't work.

4. - BTW commoners don't know your in the Theives guild right? I have an 80 per charc and suddenly he's got the cold shoulder from a few people and this was after joining the guild... no one should know that. What's weird is I had him talk to one girl who greeted him warmly - but the game did the freezing thing (listed above) and when I exited and restored from a save game she said something like she despised his kind. Now why didn't she say that before? And what kind? because he's a high elf - or because of one of the guilds he's in? Shouldn't the reaction be the same though?
