STUCK! HELP!

Fri Mar 17, 2006 5:44 pm

I see that there aren't many topics here but maybe someone can help me out. I have gone through the game really far without using hardly any personal magic. I use magic items but not pure magic except for like two spells. I am stuck because I am in the tomb of lysandus and just got finishing talking to his ghost, but I can't get out of his pit. I don't know levitation or have items with levetation and the walls and ceiling are configured in such a way that it is impossible to climb them. I've gotten through this whole game climbing, sometimes even using consistant glitches to my advantage, but this is the first time I've actually needed levetation!

So in conclusion two questions:
1) While I'm in the pit, is there anything I can do? Even a temporary cheat, or an item cheat would be great, just so I can get out of this thing.
2) I have a save game thats not too long before this happened. How can I get levetation. Is there a specific shop? Or what.

If I remember correctly there's some special way of getting out. Try clicking on EVERYTHING you see. All the items and stuff. There might be some magic teleporter or hidden passage.

I have done this to some extent but never hardcore style. You have given me hope. I will double my efforts in the task of clicking on every single thing in the entire tomb.

I did it! You have to click on the back of one of the statues that is not touching the wall.

GJ. :)

There is a cheat tho. I know you don't need anymore, but you still might find it useful.

If you've enabled the "cheats" from the newest patch, you can hit ALT-F11 to move back a space. (Amazingly useful if you fall into the void, if you can hit it fast enough.)

Well, if you load a save game in a dungeon, then you hit ALT-F11, there is nowhere to send you back to, so it defaults to the beginning of the dungeon.

wow! now thats handy (see my other post re not having a spellcaster character)

Considering I wouldn't benefit from tracing my way painstakingly through a dungeon with nothing to kill or collect I wouldn't really think of it as 'cheating'! ;)

Lol, true. :D

Well hell, with that patch Kieroshark is talking about, once you enter a dungeon, after clicking CTR+F4 or CTR+F1, just press [ or ] and you'll cycle through various locations in the dungeon and eventually come to the thing you're searching for, whether it's an item or an enemy.

This cheat is what allowed me to beat the entire game of Daggerfall in less than 5 hours, solving both main Quests.
