People won't talk to me in Sentinel (city)

Fri Nov 26, 2021 6:33 pm

So, I just cured myself of vampirism, my reputation is now "common citizen" (it wasn't before) but none of the people in Sentinel (city) will talk to me, when I try to I get "You get no response". How do I change this.

I haven't played Daggerfall yet, but I think the usual advice in this situation is to do whatever you can to improve your reputation in the town.

Will anyone at all talk to you, such as merchants and guild persons, or is absolutely everyone refusing to respond to you? If you can get somebody to give you a quest, maybe you can work on improving your standing in the town.

Also, do you have any other diseases besides vampirism that might need to be cured?

Thank you for the help.

People are now talking to me, I think I just had to wait a while/travel out the city and then back.

I did not have any other diseases and the tavernkeeps, merchants and guild persons would talk to me just the NPCs on the streets wouldn't.

My standing was reset once I cured my vampirism

That's good to know about leaving town and then returning. When I start playing Daggerfall, I'll probably run into a similar situation sooner or later. I've seen Twitch streamers who were having the same issue. :)
