Werewolf Spell Bug

I played, or more like tried to play Daggerfall many times. Scince the game is cool I tried to beat it three times. First time I just stopped to get any quest letters after lich soul quest (Long time after overwriting the saves I actually have found the quest-fix program in daggerfall files section, but overwritten files = lost files), Second time nearly the same, but istead after doing the first Mannimarco quest I get the letter about it again. So now is the third time, when i made overpowered lycanthrope class (Werecreature attribute bonuses created 100 at level 5 in Strength, Agility and Endurance, magical disadvantages (like no spells in light (Non magic class)) made lots points to use advantages, that made me immune to everything and of course I used skills that are risen by being beast). And guess what... Another bug made my power to be wereboar useless, because it started to cost magica (Because of disadvantages no mana). I don't know what happened scince I played some time using this character and power was okay. Now I am constant wereboar because I can't shapeshift and that obviously blocks my way to end game again.

Okay you may ask why my Daggerfall is so buggy - Its medium installation that can't be patched (Don't ask why I am just a little bit "eccentric in installing games " and I don't want to change it scince it took me lot of time to even work on my pc).

Soo... If anyone know how to fix it and allow me to finally finish the game, I will be thankful to see his/her response.

Just reinstall the game using the daggerfall setup version.

It comes prepatched with more patches than bethesda made officially available.

No CD needed. And it preconfigures itself.

Alot of the issues you are having have been fixed. You dont have to install it the hard way anymore...

Download the daggerfall setup version, if the link doesnt work, use the direct download link to get it downloaded.

Do not get the official Bethesda version. This one will not pre-configure and it doesn't contain all of the community made patches and fixes. I have personally myself contributed to the Daggerfall setup version. And it is the version that everybody should use. Hell it should have been packaged in with the Elder Scrolls anthology

Just install it with all the optional addons. And im pretty darn sure your saves will still work

Thanks! It works as you told me!
If I want to be true I was thinking about that but once I tried do move saves from DaggerXL to Daggerfall it did't work so I was thinknig, that versions of the game should be exacly the same in order to work.
And there is my cool discovery... As I written later I was playing as wereboar (According to older vesions of UESP in unpatched versions of Daggerfall you could only become wereboar, even after being bitten by werewolf). After moving saves... poof! I am my dreamed werewolf! It is rather interesting isn't it? Maybe it should be written in Daggerfall:Lycanthropy article?

Maybe, but we advise everyone to use the daggerfall setup version by default. Usually in bug notes it says what fan made patches fix these things.and DF Setup has all the best fanmade patches.
