Way to adjust reflex settings?

Sat Feb 25, 2017 10:17 pm

So i've been playing daggerfall for a while now, and I want to know if I can change my reflex settings.

When I started my game, I set my reflexes to "average," but it's WAY(rest) too slow. Someone help please! :(

Do I need a save editor or something?

heheh get it? Wayrest?

But really, average reflexes is too boring

I checked and Daghex allows you to change the Reflex setting. It stores it under menu 1 (Player info) under the name "Speed setting." I'm sure that there are other hex editors with nicer interfaces that can do it (there are many to choose from) but yes, it is possible.

As for changing it in-game, I'm pretty sure it's impossible; your reflex setting is kind of meant to be a major deciding factor in how your character's game is played; that's why it's set at the beginning of every new character rather than once by you as a configuration setting for Daggerfall.

Agreed, use DagHex because you cannot change it during the game.
