Item name/description?

I can't see any names or descriptions for the items I'm carrying - for instance, my character has a pair of gauntlets or gloves which they're apparantly not supposed to use, but I don't know what they actually are or what material they're made from? Perhaps I'm missing it somewhere?

Normally clicking on the "Info" button while in the inventory screen, and then on any item in your inventory should provide informaiton on the material from which the item is made.
