Smuggling quest

I know that they are randomized but I have a problem:
I was told to go to the Gaerford Residence in Stokdale to deliver a drug within 34 days. I went there, found the residence but it's locked
My lockpicking skill is 3 or something and I don't have any unlock spells. I've loitered around there in hope of the door being unlocked but no luck so far.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Bash it open with a weapon and pray the guards don't spot you is my advice.
