I noticed the Tamriel section of the Wiki was renamed Lore; any ideas why?

everytime i see that picture, that pops in my head.


I noticed that last week, when i went to click on Oblivion and it wasnt down at the bottom of the list, took me about 10 mins to find that it had been moved up the list. :x

I expect some people complained about titles like Tamriel: Akavir, and Tamriel: Nirn, as if they are part of Tamriel.

There is usually a good source of info about what is going on with the wiki on this page. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/UESPWiki:Community_Portal

I check it out much more often since I became a mod.

The Tamriel->Lore move was discussed in detail here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/UESPWiki:Names ... ve_Project but the basic reason was indeed that Tamriel:Akavir and several other articles didn't make sense.

I figured that the main reason was because most people thought that "Tamriel" was simply another game and not a section on lore.

Also, if you google "Elder Scrolls Lore", UESP did not even show on the first page. :shock: :shock:

That's ridiculous! Everybody knows the UESP is the most lore-stuffed site known to man.
