I am having problems with UESP. Whenever I try to go to UESP(any part), it mostly redirects me to a page that says stuff about UESP not responding or whatever. Now is anyone having the same problem, or is my internet like [&@%!]?

Yeah, it's probably the server load.

In total there are 107 users online :: 16 registered, 0 hidden and 91 guests (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)

Get used to it for a couple of months.

Oh god. Now I'll stay away from the forums for a while.

I'm a little worried that our forum slows down with only over 100 people. >.>

Yeah, I'n not getting problems per se, but the pages wont load fully, leaving out the little buttons that tend to be loaded last, because it's taking so long to load.

Well, I'm not having any troubles with the wiki as of right now, but the forums are acting the same way.

As far as I'm aware, this is totally due to the amount of traffic we're seeing from Skyrim. Not only is it a ton of traffic, but the way our servers are setup means that our usual means of spreading out the traffic aren't working as well.

Our servers are setup with a squid server that is basically a large cache for the wiki. Normally, most Non-logged-in wiki users only put load on the squid (all the pages they want are on the squid). When the page they request isn't on the squid, it must be accessed from our content servers. This is probably happening more than normal due to the number of edits happening on the server AND the increased traffic).

The forums themselves run directly off the content servers (Content1 to be exact). The increase in wiki traffic that needs to be addressed by the content servers is causing our slowdown (and we're also contributing a bit of congestion as well).

I'll see if there's something that can be done server side, but I highly doubt it.

Is there anything we can do on our side of the end? Cached pages help, but it's not very productive

Besides logging out and playing Skyrim so you aren't on the forums? No, not really.

If you are browsing the wiki, do so logged off. That'll put more traffic on the squid server and hopefully move it off or content1.

DO you mean to log off the forums while we browse the wiki, or log off of the wiki? I would assume you mean forums.

In that case, would editing the wiki while logged out make an improvement? Or is the possible benefit limited to browsing?

Ah, I saw this coming. I had to go elsewhere to ask some Skyrim questions because the HTTP timeouts here got on my nerves.
Save some bandwidth for the fishes, guys. :(

Limited to browsing I would guess.
