I was going to post a spammer, but got beat to it, and when I went to the page to verify it was the same one I was going to post, I realized that I saw a signature, which I have turned off, and noticed I was logged out.

This happened around 6:04 am EST.

I could not log back in, as it would not accept my username, or password. I left to do something else, and came back to check about 15-20 minutes later, and I was logged in, like nothing happened?

Did anyone else have an issue like this, this morning?

About an hour and a half, to three quarters, ago I was logged out, however, I was able to log back in straight away without a hitch.

I get it around the same time everyday. I assume it's after a server restart or something.

I think that I have only been auto logged off once in the last 12 months or so. I would sort of expect it, since I travel so much, and my IP changes a lot. This does happen to other sites that I have auto/permanent log on enable, so being logged off doesn't seem strange.

What was strange was not being able to log in again. Then returning, and being logged in like nothing happened.

I do run into the "site down" thing, especially on Sunday mornings. It has never logged me out though.

I typically always wake up around 0400-0430 EST every morning, and check out UESP around that time.

Oddly enough, it just happened again. I was logged out. I tried twice to log in, and it would not accept log in or password. When I closed the browser, and opened it back up, I was logged in again...???

Oddly enough, it was when I was looking at the same profile.

Try for three... It did it again. It is not a profile, it is the topice for the spam that BlackDrake posted this morning.

Okay, I think I have found it. It did it again, it is this topic: http://forum.uesp.net/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=25236

Could someone else click on that link to the topic, and see if it logs them out.

It did. I think it was the link and removal. Argon would know.

I just tried and it logged me out too, but I was able to log back on straight away. I do remember viewing that thread yesterday, so that may have been what logged me out.

That's really weird that it does that, I'm interested as to why it didn't work on AtoM though...

Wow. The first 5 times I did it, it didn't work. After that, it did.

I'll see if we can get our faithful admins to look into this. It is likely a server issue related to the forum periodically going down, but worth looking into.

If anyone finds some further details about this, post it here to help out. Until then sit tight!

In my dark black past, we used to hide code in places like usernames, and subject lines. Not sure if it can be done here or not.
