I just started as a new user, but I noticed two disturbing sponsored links. Mostly the Caesary links with using adult looking pictures and/or animations. "One click for a Roman Orgy! Click Now!" Honestly, why are those links of all things, sponsers of this wiki? We should remove those two links if possible (well the immature ads). |

-facepalm- They're ads that pay for the server. I take it you're using internet explorer. YOu should download Firefox or Chrome and install ad-blocker-plus. |

They're ads that randomize according to the content of the site. It's a forum for an RPG series, and those Caesary game ads are also RPGs. |

Daveh can probably remove them by editing our ads settings. The wiki uses Google Ads to pay for itself. We have control over what ads can be displayed, but sometimes one or two sneaks through, and the settings have to be adjusted. |

You can get Chrome here, if you wish, or simply learn more about it. I use it as do many others. |

Looks like Chrome worked... now I wont see that immature ad for an RPG it is not a you-know-what-kind-of-game |

Oh, you mean the Evony ads are back? The funny part is that, like Evony, Caesary is more like an MMO Civilization clone than anything else. |

I think I might be the only person here who doesn't care about the adds, and doesn't use add-blocker...I just ignore the lil' guys... |

I've never noticed popups, but I do see the ads and I ignore them. It could be the popup blocker, but I've never got a message telling me that the browser was blocking anything.
