Sometimes, even though I have checked the "stay signed in" box, I will be logged out. This is mostly if I close the index while it's still loading. As long as you can remember your password (or set firefox to remember it), you'll be able to just click Log In, type your name, re-check the box and all will be well again.

Have you disabled cookies? That might cause it.

@Raven: i don't think I have disabled cookies but I will check.

Edit: Nope no cookies disabled. but I do have "foof" installed. Could that be the problem?

On a place Mercury I can't access the Administration Control Panel because of the cookies.

So, even though this website is phpbb3, you should disable cookies for here and see what happens. All I have to do is double click the fields to log in!

I've tried both Blocking all cookies from this site and allowing all cookie regardless of privacy setting. Neither way can I log on here with Firefox.

i'm guessing you could log on before with firefox and something has changed. maybe the update stopped something working. have you tried deleting all your cache?

also, try temporarily disabling foof if that's a possibility. you can re-enable it again once you know if it's a problem or not

PS: i use ccleaner and notice when i clear IE cache it affects FF cache for some reason. not sure if FF uses the IE cache or not. to be sure when clearing your cache clear it for IE as well incase there's a conflict somewhere. good luck :)

Tried disabling foof it didn't work and I haven't ever been able to log on with Firefoc as I said I just got it yesterday.

And I know this is a really stupid question but. How do I clear the cache?

well, i use FF v3.0.10
i don't normally use "remember me" but tried it and it works (after closing FF and browsing to the forum again). i've never had any problem logging on manually in FF.

if it's not a cooky that's floating between IE and FF then i'm not sure. clearing cache on IE and FF should have dealt with that.

if you're help/about for FF shows the version as v3.0.10 then i have no idea why it would behave differently to mine

I'm on 3.0.10. This is so weird.

Edit:Interesting, when I tried purposely messing up my password it said I entered used the wrong password but when I enter the correct information nothing. Weird :?
