Each time I type the words U R and L together I get a message saying I should stop spamming, posting adverts, etc. Repeating it will get me banned, lol.
It that word banned on uesp?

No, but posting links is, until you've been here long enough and have posted enough. Sorry, I know it's inconvenient to newer posters, but it's done a lot to prevent the flood of spam the forum used to get. Unfortunately, the filter isn't perfect, so it might be complaining about totally legitimate posts. Don't worry, we won't ban you for that

And I haven't managed that minimal number? Look at how many times I've posted already! 
And I haven't even typed in the full link. All I did was literally type U and R and L (without all the and's).
EDIT: Right, I haven't been here over a week. I still think this filter system sucks guars for filtering that word! |

i know it may be frustrating for you at the moment. but just take a quick look at the member list to see how many new ones have joined today. just about all the ones with 0 posts are spam bots who probably got stopped by the rule. imagine if they had managed to post, what a mess that would be... we couldn't be bothered to look for proper posts, and the mods would have to clean everything up 
believe me, you'll be glad of this one day... |

The week goes by really quick anyway. I barely noticed, myself. I think it's a good rule, especially considering forums I've been to in the past.
