It is all right, Alucard. You're on the tail end of an April Fool's joke the Moderators played on everyone today. Things will be back to normal shortly once Dark Lord's timezone passes on to April 2nd. Sit tight!

I think that the mod team dynamic here on the UESP is very much a team thing, rather than a leadership one (i.e. the mods are equal and they are still very much users here too), even with different levels of mods from Global to Tea Party. I doubt that this team will ever be questioned for abuse of power, and as demonstrated by the shakier side of our history, I believe that there will always be a forum for users to ensure that their voices are heard and that they are never left out to dry.

You don't have to worry about that. The moderator team here at UESP is all on equal grounds (yes: no head moderator) and we debate and discuss ceaselessly, often to the point of exhaustion. Members are carefully chosen to represent UESP as a moderator and once elected no one has the power to overthrow or overrule the others. So, no need to worry about that cardbird.

As always, we are but human, and sometimes we must act first and think later to do what we think is right...and it isn't always right. All members of the moderator squad are here for questions and you can privately PM us with any questions you have over our actions. If we are wrong, we will reverse our action. We do it often with the locking of threads, for example. So, no worries!

Talk to us, UESP. We don't bite.

perhaps if the mod team of just one mod made many unpopulr ruleings the members could start a vote of no confadince

I completely agree! I have seen Mods abuse there power like that! I don't want this forum to be morphed into some sort of Internet fascism. I think that on the most important decisions that could threaten the existence of this forum, then all of the members - who have been on the site for a while - should have a vote, however, I don't think there should be a vote on who is a moderator as people will choose their friends and the deserving people won't get to be one.

I know Zombie's joking and I hope you are too Goof.

Now enough of this kind of talk, this is a serious thread .
