I'm on to you, Cactus, or should I say... Cactus.exe?

What does that have to do with my comment?

Well, (allegedly) not being sentient computer programs means they can go outside, and ruin lives there.

I know that. I didn't comment on that because there's know way he talks to 90,000+ people on a daily basis.

Well, taking Cactus as an example, he is 25, which means that if today is his 25th birthday (which it isn't), he will have been alive for 9131 days (give or take a few, though I added 6 for leap years). Assuming capacity to ruin lives starts only when you can speak, and Cactus took 2 years to speak well enough, that means he had 8401 days in which to ruin lives, or roughly 280 months. Assuming you meet or talk to 300 new people a month (that's really not that much, actually, especially working in retail), that's 84 010 new people per month which he has had the opportunity to ruin the lives of. Obviously, he has capitalised on this opportunity. "But wait!" I hear you cry, "That's not 100 000!" You are correct there, however, it can be assumed that ruining the life of a parent also ruins the life of any children they might have. I'd estimate that out of the 84 010 people he's met, roughly half of them (42 005) have children. The average number of children per family is 2.4, so assuming that 1/3 of said half share the same children, that's 28 003 families with children, therefore 67 208 children whose lives have been ruined by extension.

Therefore, adding the 84 010 people whose lives Cactus has actively ruined to the 67 208 people whose he has ruined by extension, I estimate that he has ruined 151 218 lives exactly.

Unfortunately, I don't know Codex's age, but I presume he is older, so he's just had more opportunity to ruin lives.

I'm not 25, but I am the oldest Moderator. And Dogmantra, you underestimate me; I'm my own format, I am cac.tus

You're not?
YOU LIED.

The point still stands though, just subtract a few years' worth, and you've still ruined over 100 000 lives! :P

Also: Codex is younger than you? You learn something new every day...

If the Cacti-Man is correct, Codex joined when he was about... 10-11ish...

Codex is one of the original members (c. 2006), making his age about 9 at the time he joined. True story and definitely not random fabrication.

Wow...

And m@nyt1mes, I'm sure I've read a post from Codex saying he was younger, but I must've thought I was dreaming. Still, he's probably just plain better at ruining lives than Cactus.

Rest assured that I would have ruined even more lives if it weren't. Now, I think this topic has run it's course.
