How long does a PM stay in the Outbox folder?

Just curious. Sometimes my PMs just won't move to the Sent folder, which makes me rather nervous.

I think they stay in there until they are received by the recipient.

You can edit or delete your PM as long as it stays in the Outbox folder. When it is received, it automatically moves to the Sent folder and you can no longer edit it.
