PhpBB 3.0.6 has been released recently, including several changes. Like a quick reply button. Will there be any update?

Some changes that may deem useful to the forum are:

• Pruning of users who have not signed in ever.
• A 'Newly Registered User' group who receive certain permissions until they research a definitive number of posts.
• Quick Reply.
• Changes in the CAPTCHA settings.
• Delete/Keep (permanently) warnings.

No it wouldn't. Quick reply is the bane of thinking. People don't take the time to read their posts over when they use quick reply. If anything, replying should be made slower with a mandatory preview before you can post anything, just to make sure everyone checks that they're not being stupid.

Yeah... we really don't have any issues with idiots not reading posts before they reply on here.

I don't know, I just find people are far too hasty with the Quick Reply Button. I wouldn't use it, but do whatever.

I would definitely use it. Not for long posts but for quick answers, when you're helping someone in the Oblivion forum.

I think this can be alleviated. I think there may be some mod, if there isn't already a feature, to disallow and allow the Quick Reply for certain forums. And I'm most certain that there is a mandatory preview button mod out there.
