Once again we've been having issues with Microsoft/Hotmail/Outlook.com/etc email addresses not receiving all or most emails from UESP.
This includes all forum-related emails (registration, activation, notifications of new replies or PMs, etc), blog notifications, and I believe the wiki as well. Dave's attempted to reach out to Microsoft for help on this, multiple times, but for now the issue still exists.

For now, if you need to make any changes to your account, are not receiving emails, or have yet to register an account on the forum, we recommend using a non-Microsoft email address.

Affected domains include:
  • hotmail.com
  • live.com
  • outlook.com
  • similar iterations of these (such as hotmail.co.uk)

If you need any assistance, please send us an email at forums@uesp.net and we'll help you out. :)

EDIT 12/26/17: De-globaling as this appears to be working again and has continued to do so for a couple months.

I had to attempt to register 3 times before it worked. I would also suggest those who can't register on the first attempt try two more times, as sometimes, persistence is the order of the day

Glad to hear it finally worked for you :) It's apparently not ALL emails being filtered out, but most - I personally haven't gotten ANY emails from UESP since the issues started.

If anyone is unable to get it after trying a couple times, we can always activate your account manually too if you get ahold of us via email or the FB page.

Thank you for sorting my issues, Alarra. I've since switched my UESP account to a non-Outlook email address, just in case.

I was able to register alright, but from the Wiki side, Yahoo seems to be affected as well. None of my Wiki client messages seem to be working. Dave told me he's working on it, but in the meantime, private messages on the forum are another method of emergency contact that was recommended to me.

Thanks for the info.
If anyone is a newer user that cannot send PMs yet, feel free to ask us via email (forums@uesp.net) or in, say, the Welcome thread: I can add you to the Confirmed Users list and then you'll be able to. (I've added you, ThuumofReason).
