It's that time again! The changing of our cute little pinkies into cute little greenies! That's right, Alarra and Dohvakiin2012 have passed all the trials and exams and have been cleared to wear the green coins and take on the extra responsibilities that come with them! Give them a HUGE congratulations, 'cause they've earned it!

In addition to those two, I will also be returning to my green roots. We have a great Mod team, and there really isn't any need for a Forum Admin position. As such I'm retiring the group, which I have been wanting to do for a while now. I'll still be the go-to guy for technical stuff, but the different color, title, whatever, just isn't necessary.

So yeah! Congrats to our new Greenies!

Congrats Alarra and Dohva. You've both earned it. Although if Musicman tries to mate with you, just slap him as it's his ultimate weakness.

Now that we no longer have an admin, does this mean that the entire moderating team chooses mods after deciding on or do you still have the power to choose them? Just curious, Fluffykiins. And does it mean that there is no longer anyone in charge of the mods per say and that it is more of a council? Just curious.

We've always chosen mods by committee, and the admin position was never one of "leader of the mods". I think some of that confusion is why Musicman chose to revert to green.

This is part of the reason I've wanted to retire the Forum Admin group. The entire Moderating Team chooses new mods and always has. The Forum Admins were never "in charge" of the Mods either, they just had a different designation to show they had more responsibilities than the rest of the Moderators. Now that we're all green again I hope it clears up some of the confusion that was created.

I always thought the admins were the leaders of the mods. Thanks for clearing it up although it's strange seeing you, Alarra and Dohva in green. Will take some getting used to.

Congratulations! I haven't been here that long, but I know getting to be a moderator on a forum is hard work and time.

Congrats to Alarra and Dovah, they have done an awesome job as TPM's, and now they are full-blooded Greenies, Taters and myself can get back to our lazy, do-nothing best!

Condolences to Musicman. It must be hard giving up those fancy silver coins. (I always thought they were kinda ugly anyways.)
