A friendly announcement to let everyone know that our tech admin Musicman247 has conducted some minor spring cleaning here on the forums! We have autolocked all threads older than one year in most areas of the forums, in an attempt to prevent necroposting.

Necroposting is the act of posting in a dead thread - in UESP terms, this usually means a thread that hasn't had a post in over three months or longer. Most necroposting is harmless, so fret not! Our forum rules mention necroposting under the subject of Posting, subsection Posting Tips.

If you are interested in reviving a dead thread, or think that two threads deserve to be merged together, please notify the forum staff so we can either unlock the topic or merge topics. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to send us a PM! We're here to answer all questions. :D

Thank you, posters!

Techincally, it should be Autumn cleaning. ;) Will Fluffyman autolock threads that just turn over a year old and are dead every month? Just curious.

We usually don't have a reason to autolock every month; a good clean up helps a lot. We'll see what works best for everyone and go from there!

Congratulations! You surely must remember my opinion in this issue, Avron. Not that it necessarily matters.
