I ask this because, in my entire playthrough so far, I have never caught a single disease once. However, I am consistently paralyzed by Spiders despite supposedly having immunity to venom/poison according to UESP.

Edit: Well, I've been cursed, but I don't think that's the same thing as a disease.

Paralysis is different than being poisoned. For instance, Knights are immune to paralysis, but not to poison.

You must just be lucky as far as never having gotten a disease (yet). Some enemies seem more prone than others to give you a disease, and some can give you diseases that will permanently lower certain stats, as opposed to having stats lowered but being able to recover the lost points by sufficiently resting.
