By level 12 I had 75 AGI and an Amulet of Agility +25, for a total of 100.

I caught leprosy (from a rat, of all things!) and immediately quaffed a potion of Cure Disease.

Shortly after I levelled up to 13 and then noticed my AGI is 70 instead of 75.

Why does this happen? Is it a bug or glitch or is it due to the disease or some spell effect from Wraiths, Ghosts etc?

Cheers!

This is normal for diseases in Arena, just drink a cure disease potion to cure yourself. :D

Thanks for the reply, but I drank a potion at the time.

So when I got back to civilisation, I took off all my gear and drank another Cure Disease, cast a spell, tried a Potion of Purification, tried a spell of Remove Curse and Remove Disease, both with 100% chance and no effect. :(

There are no spells of Restore Attribute in Arena, much to my dismay. But I noticed that spells that damage attribute seem to have a duration or a reset speed built in.

But when I rested for an hour, my Agility reset to 75! :D

So you think this WAS because of the disease, then? This was during the Elden Grove quest, so there were a lot of ghosts and wraiths, but I can't see any power of Drain Agility listed.

This is my first play through with Arena, so (unless it was a glitch) it looks like Cure Disease removes the disease, but restoring damaged attributes needs bed rest.

If I had not cured the disease, would my Agility keep falling to zero?

Cheers!

Yes, I should have mentioned this. In Arena, you can cure yourself of a disease, but you are still hurt due to it (as you noticed :)). In order to restore your attributes you must take a rest. So yes, it wasn't a glitch that is just how it works. I hope this cleared up any confusion for you.

Thanks!

I just got hit with Plague, drank a potion and my AGI, END and PER (or is it SPD?) are whacked. I'm in a dungeon, so managed to rest 1 hour at a time, but then Jagar Tharn turned up to throw some abuse.

Great Game!

Cheers!
