Re: What did you do in Arena today?
Oh, that second map is cool. I've had my own makeshift map on where the treasure piles are (made with the Paint program, lol), but that is so much nicer. I was working on adding treasure pile locations for all the main dungeon maps for personal use, but I haven't worked on that in a while. Still, I ...

Re: My First Daggerfall Playthrough
I'll look into that, Kiri. Thanks for the forewarning. I've known diseases and poisons are really annoying in this game.
So, another quick question. I'm not level 11, and one, when I level up, the character screen doesn't pop up for me to distribute the attribute points. I have to manually go to my ...

Re: Question about Emulators and Oblivion
Yeah, I noticed the walking, but I've found a way around that. Thanks for your help, and if I figure out what's up with it, I'll let you know. Cheers!

Re: Question about Emulators and Oblivion
Oh, sorry, I mean, I understand that, and I've looked at diagrams of phones just to be sure I know which ones they are, but for my game, they don't do anything when I press them. Everything else works (combat, healing), but the soft keys don't seem to have any effect in the game. They work just fine ...

Question about Emulators and Oblivion
Hey, TES fans. Quick question. Last month I finally got both Stormhold and Dawnstar, and while I haven't done anything in Dawnstar yet, I've found Stormhold to be a blast. Following msico's suggestion post from last November, instead of using Kemulator, I've been using sjboy, as I would like to save ...

Okay, thank you for clarifying, MARS. I'll keep that in mind for the future.

Re: My First Daggerfall Playthrough
You need to search the UESP wiki for quests so you can recognize them from a giver message, since all of them have a different time limit and effort required; save before asking for a quest, never pick any quests that are impossible for you to finish in time to avoid large reputation losses that ...

My First Daggerfall Playthrough
To avoid the risk of necro-posting the main discussion thread, I've decided to start this to voice my opinions on my first real playthrough of Daggerfall.
I won The Elder Scrolls: Arena around six months ago with a Breton Sorcerer, and I finally started my official playthrough of Daggerfall ...

Re: Bethesda Classic Games on GOG
I already had Arena and Daggerfall, but I grabbed Battlespire and Redguard up the second I saw you could buy them. It's a pity I can't find any way to play Stormhold, Shadowkey, and the other mobile games, but I'm so happy Battlespire and Redguard are easy to attain now.

Re: GOG Redguard Runs Slowly
Well, it seems to be working for me. The stutter is there, but it's not too bad. I'm just happy I was able to pick up this and Battlespire. Pity there's no way to get a hold of those mobile games they released.

Re: Daggerfall General Discussion Thread
Well, I haven't finished Arena yet, and haven't done a lot with Daggerfall yet due to that, but it's amazing how much more complicated this game is than Arena. Not a bad complicated, but there's a lot more to learn. The map system in dungeons is a bit hard to get accustomed to, but I do quite ...

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Welcome, "D.E.A. This Life". You aren't doing a very good job of staying undercover, but I'm interested to know what you were in your previous life.
But actually, why is death life? Are you an undertaker?
Ha, amusing. Greetings. I use to write lyrics a lot when I was an emo teen, and one of the ...

Re: Arena - Who's still playing?
Well, it depends on what you mean by still playing, as I only first played this early this year, but I'm enjoying it, and am almost done with the game (currently on the first floor of Dagoth-Ur). Having never played a 90's computer game like this, I found there to be a steep learning curve, and ...

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Welcome. Anyone who can get even halfway through Arena has my utmost respect.
haha, thanks. Nice to meet you. And yeah, it was harsh, as my first character is a Sorcerer (instead of choosing my own class, I find the short quizzes before the game starts nifty, at least for my first time playing ...

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Hey, guys! First post here. I bought Skyrim (none of the expansions, alas) on Steam around a year ago, and I logged over 200 hours in it on just one character, lol. Since then, I've downloaded the other four main games, and plan to play each at least through the story-mode, and am currently in one ...
