I have never played a mage or fighter

I'm not sure if this is common But I started a new game this morning and at the tower part where alduin makes roast pork with that dude I simply pushed him away and alduin did no damage. I never saw him again though.

I married aela awhile back and we were out in the wild and when I tried to shoot a sabre cat aela got in the way of my enchanced dwarven crossbow(legendary)...

Obviously she died but I was wondering if she will respawn and where. I've waited days and days but she's not a hjerm(aela current home) or ...

I a dwemer ruin (north solsteim) I stumbled upon a falmer 1/3 the normal size . I don't what happened but I do know that it was hard to hit with crossbow
