Always failing to kill Orchendor

I'm on the finaly stage of The Only Cure and right when I kill Orchendor I fail the quest. It says "Failed: Kill Orchendor" every time. I've tried five times and it always happens right when he dies.
I'm using the unofficial patch. I can't find any info on this bug.
Am I missing something?

Yes, yes, I've had the addons of course. These are no excuse for not making the basic game interface useful after years of development.

Re: Horse stat optimization and you

Just to make this clear, this is how you save time on riding skill training post 1.6. However you will lose gold .
If you only care about your gold and are fine with raising one riding skill point per day you should not buy a second horse now. The only perk of a second horse will be its different ...

Re: 1.6 hits the PTS Tomorrow (Jan 27)!

I'm trying to buy some dwarven ingots and I have to sift through hundreds of stacks of all other kinds of ingots in any order but alphabetical.

You'd rather it be alphabetic and not based on price?

If it were one of the other, yes, but I'd rather let the player choose. We can choose to sort by ...

I don't like being Negative Nancy but how has this game been out for a year and I still have to stack items in my bank manually? Why can't I type to search for items in the guild store, or at the very least sort items alphabetically? I'm trying to buy some dwarven ingots and I have to sift through ...

Re: ESO - Tamriel Unlimited

I will get back in to see what's new. That's for sure.
I've seen some interesting changes in the patch notes, level scaling dungeons being the most important.

But the reason I quit is likely still there. It's the best single player MMO I've ever had, but I really wish there were more incentive to ...

If I remember my Old Norse correctly ginnunga means "immeasurable" or "vast". Interesting choice for a name.

Re: Should we even try to immerse?

First of all, no character can come and kill you unless you absolutely must be roleplaying in Cyrodiil, which is the designated PvP zone of the game. In the rest of Tamriel nobody can touch you.

Secondly, you know the grouping survey that was originally planned but later cancelled? It has partly ...

Re: Opinions on Class Choices

I know we can all love the fact that John the Sorcerer can run around in full daedric heavy armour swinging around his 2h battle axe not casting a single spell, but your class should put you on the path to how your character should be used most effectively.

This sums up your wishes and ...

Re: Opinions on Class Choices

While playing the beta the first time I especially noticed the class system... We aren't given many options...
Because the options are both included within classes and added from without. Looking at previous TES games the same way you might say they give you no options because there are no classes ...

One PvP zone and one for PvE.

Cyrodiil - where PvP is on permanently.
Rest of Tamriel - where PvP is impossible and you will only meet characters from your own alliance.

Re: what faction will you join and why

Also, is it true that you are limited in where you can go based on your faction?

Before level 50 you can only explore your alliance's home territory. At 50 the other provinces will open to you. Exactly how that will work hasn't been revealed I think. It is clear that you still won't encounter ...

Re: The Holy Trinity?

Why wouldn't a nightblade be considered a main tank?

Just a thought. Raid leader ignorance is a popular reason, but I'm mainly thinking since we don't know how strong the DK mitigation skills will be at that level compared to the NB Siphoning for example. I wouldn't be surprised if developers had ...

Re: The Holy Trinity?

There have long been four main archetypal classes in role-playing games. In D&D they were called fighter, thief, cleric and wizard. When WoW used the same concepts they were called warrior, rogue, priest and mage. It's clear that the same holy quadrupy is reincarnated in dragon knight, nightblade ...

For a little bit of everything ... uh, I don't know. You really have a lot of options there.
Help yourself to some calculators. They were in the works for months before the NDA lift of course.

Re: Melee Templar Planning

I think you need to provide some more food for thought. With the open-ended ability system of ESO there are a great number of "best ways" to play. "This isn't WoW you know", and that analogy has probably never been more accurate.
What do you want to do exactly?

Do you plan for PvP or PvE? Tanking ...

Re: The Holy Trinity?

This is purely about theorycrafting, but the fear I have is that this will eventually lead to a situation were classes are reduced to certain roles and if you for example want to heal as sorcerer 90% of the time you will hear why should we take you when a templar is much better at the same job ...

Re: Press and Player Experiences During the Beta

Monsters seemed horribly unbalanced - usually getting set upon by more than one monster at the same time meant pretty much insta-death, even if the monsteres were 1-2 levels below you. And this was with a heavy armour 'tank' type character...

That's strange. Maybe an issue at some level above ...

Re: Press and Player Experiences During the Beta

The press seems very divergent in their general assessment, and even on many specifics. I've read it all - from the mad rants of what a huge suckage this is to the equally slanted elevation of Firor and Sage to divinity.

First, I need to play more and beyond level 12 to give a worthy review, but so ...

Re: Will you buy The Elder Scrolls: Online?

It's funny too see people getting turned off because of MMO elements and "not enough ES". My impression is the opposite, and not because I'm not a very loyal ES fan, but because of the hybrid mess.
ZOS were very clear from the start that they were making an MMO, and it's been obvious throughout ...
