Re: what do YOU not like about TES

It shouldn't be "common knowledge" that TES games crash on the PC, but freeze on the XBOX/360. I'm not sure about the stability issues on the PS3. If any PS3 owner would care to comment on it, I'm all ears.

A PS3 user, you say? I can tell you that Oblivion would be constantly crashing when I ...

Re: what do YOU not like about TES

I've said it before today on here, but equal carry capacity in Skyrim. Man, I detest it. The quest marker, yep, don't like it either, but as was mentioned by ZeRoc (who wins epic points for having Ghastly as an avatar), the directions aren't detailed enough to turn map marker off.

Re: Skyrim - Your Reviews and First Impressions

Ok, I'll bite.

The Good
1. Altmer no longer have a weakness to magic.
2. The game looks fantastic.
3. War paint is epic.
4. Imperials look more Mediterranean than ever before/ Imperial armor resembles the Lorica Segmentata .

Re: Orsinium in the 4th Era

is there any info from in game orcs in Skyrim? I am trying to get invited into a orc stronghold but haven't got far

Not too much. Getting into the strongholds doesn't yield much background info on Orsinium, but does yield some info on Orcish culture and customs, including a glimpse at the Orcish ...

Re: Orsinium in the 4th Era

Keyes was given a list of do's and don'ts and a basic outline of the events after Oblivion by Bethesda lore writers, who he worked closely with. He was told what was allowed, and what had transpires. All he did was fill in the gaps and make an interesting story. He did not invent lore and his ...

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes

Thank you for moving my post to here, Avron! Glad to know lore-nazis are welcome here. I'm not such a lore-nazi that I can't play the games ("wait a minute, that's not canon!!!"), but I can already tell my favorite section here will be "lore".

Lol, Musicman247, thank you for the welcome.

Hey there! The real name's David, but my nickname is Boneyard, hence the screen name. While it sounds hardcore, I actually "earned" the nickname by being terrible at Domino's (I'm constantly in the boneyard)...

Anyhoo, I've been an ES fan since Daggerfall. At the time I was a punk kid (about 12 ...
