Damn... would've been a hell of a ride if we'd been able to see it through, but stuff happens. Grateful for all the time and planning you put into this, and glad you were willing to share the summary (something I now realize it would have been cool to see for some of the past incomplete RPs).

Yeah I wasn't under any illusions about that, but I just feel a sort of obligation to do something with the 4-day weekend. A couple of my friends from class mentioned maybe going on a hike (which is more or less the only thing to do around here), so that might be what ends up happening.

I have Black Friday to thank for having saved something like $150 on my laptop two years ago, but I bought that online; I'd never want to set foot in a store on Black Friday if I lived in the US. Speaking of which, this year I'll actually be experiencing American Thanksgiving for the first time ...

Anduroth

Damn it, I should have acted quicker, Anduroth thought as the bouncer drew his final breath. He might have been able to keep the poor man alive a bit longer with his medigel canister; he would have liked to hear more about the situation inside the bar. But then again, using your own ...

Anduroth

A grave glare was what Teal's comments earned from Anduroth. "I know you do not have practice working in a team, but antagonizing your partners is a poor way to start," he told the girl. He knew the members of the 72 to be agreeable enough when yielded to. "We survive together or not at ...

The hype begins anew! My guess would be a late 2019 or maybe even mid-2020 release; just in time for the end of my university degree.

As for the location, looks like it could be High Rock to me, but I'll be excited no matter where we end up. The real crazy thing is, I thought it still felt too ...

Anduroth

Anduroth's usual stoic exterior was not ruffled by the DJ's words nor the Black Sun recording, but a pang of fear stabbed at his heart when he realized the gravity of the plot against them. One week. If they were unable to stop the Black Sun, Anduroth would never see his family again ...

Anduroth

Walking near the rear of the group as they descended beneath the theater, Anduroth listened to the soft conversations going on. He had heard rumours of the girl and her exploits, and felt sympathy for her plight mixed with uncertainty over her mental stability. Her deeds did not concern ...

Anduroth

The tall, dark-skinned Faustian walked onto the dimly lit scene, after spending a few moments to size up the group. On average they appeared somewhat rough around the edges, and some of them were clearly the combat-ready type. He was unsure of how well he would fit in with this company ...

Brendan

Now that 'Abel' had given up enough ground, and had their attention split to deal with the new arrivals, Brendan figured the time was now or never to strike. Stifling a yell to preserve what of the element of surprise was available, he sprinted and took a running leap forward to close the ...

Alright, finally ready! l made some assumptions about world details and took a few liberties, so be sure to scour this for anything that's incorrect or iffy.
Name: Anduroth, "Andy" to his MAA friends

Happy birthday, Union! :D

What the hell, that's not a pancake that's like a shadow of a crêpe

Thanks so much, guys! I know I haven't been around here all that often recently but I'll never go full inactive - I love this place and you guys too much!

(Speaking of which, this April will mark 6 years on the forums for me... damn, so much has happened over all that time, and this place has been ...

Brendan - The Ivory Halls

Brendan's face contorted in a silent snarl at the attack that felled James, and followed up Max's attack by himself advancing towards 'Abel'. He diverted his approach as Max was deflected aside, reducing speed and stalking in a circle a few metres wide of his opponent ...

I'm currently about halfway through Danganronpa (the first one, in case anyone here knows the series), and I've also just started Super Mario Odyssey after buying a Switch yesterday! Both are absolutely great so far.

I just finished Oathbringer (after buying it on release day over a month ago) and hoooooooooooooo boy. I would not hesitate to say that it is probably one of the greatest books I've ever read. Not only is it an incredible next instalment of the Stormlight Archive story, with as many twists and epic ...

Re-listening to Spirit Phone by Lemon Demon (Neil Cicierega), and it's still absolutely fantastic. The bonus tracks for it (almost as many as actual songs on the album) are also amazing!

The Ivory Halls - Brendan

Brendan took a step back defensively. "Guan Yu!" he called out, summoning his Persona to the scene. He was new to this kind of fighting, so he held off from making the first move. He would leave it to one of his fellow summoners or their adversary - if it was the latter ...

Oh damn, hey Tom! I doubt you remember me, but IIRC you were on the mod squad around the time I joined. It's nice to see a face from back then! Even if it does remind me of how I went by "EpicAbrad" in those days...

Edit: Also, I need to get active in the Discord server. I spend so much time on ...

Brendan squinted, trying to make sense of the strange being in front of him as it solidified into shape. It certainly seemed dangerous, but Brendan refused to let himself be intimidated. Who knew, perhaps showing fear would make it more likely to attack.

"If you expected us, then I guess you know ...

What's up dude. You probably don't remember me because I went by a different username when you were around ...

Brendan

Brendan looked around, taking his new surroundings. The general atmosphere of the place was enough to give him a shiver. He wasn't sure what they'd find here, but he was sure it wouldn't be good. He moved forward a few steps, listening closely to see if the echoing sounds up ahead changed ...

Heh, glad you're liking it! It's definitely quite a ride from beginning to end.
